Red Lobster — Restaurant in Muskogee

20240221T1945 - this review is as a door Dasher interfacing with the employees. I have never eaten at this Red lobster. I just had a very negative interaction with the employees at this Red lobster and I thought I would document it here. I arrived to pick up a food order for a customer. One off the clock employee and two on the clock employees asked me what the customer's name was. My previous interactions with the same employees normally resulted in the young man going to the back to check on the food and let me know how long it was going to take. That did not happen this time. When I saw him again I asked if somebody was going to check on the order and he asked me for the name again. I told him that I had already told the name to three employees including him himself. And then I asked "How many times do I have to say it". I guess that was upsetting and they decided to get the manager involved. Somebody at the host stand asked for my name and I gave it to them because I had done nothing wrong. The manager comes out with the food sometime later and starts telling me that she doesn't appreciate me disrespecting her employees, cussing at her employees, etc. I did not cuss at anybody but she kept on insisting I had disrespected her employees. I explained exactly what happened but she wasn't hearing anything I was saying. I reported my interaction to Uber to ensure it was documented. Two Stars do not represent the delicious Cod , compliments to the chef for a job well done. My Server Jaime left a great deal to be desired however. a friend and I visited this Red Lobster a few weeks ago, I had a coupon for 25 dollars that I wanted to use. I advised Jaime of my coupon and she told me it would be accepted. We were seated and not offered any chedder biscuits which I thought was unusual. I requested the delicious chedder biscuits and after some time Jaime plopped them down on the table and hurriedly walked away. It is noteworthy to mention there was a gentleman cautiously eyeing my friend and I which I later discovered was the management , his name was Mike. Jaime brought out our order but left off the side dishes, she seemed in my opinion not happy that we might be getting a "free meal" but I cant prove that. The fact she didnt want to offer us biscuits and only brought out a portion of my order raised this concern, her attitude was defintely rude and uninviting. After our meal, she brought us a bill..rather than object, I paid the bill, but I requested to speak to the management. I informed him I was happy to pay the bill, but that I should have been able to use my coupon. I told him I would not be leaving a gratuity. He seemed to me as if he could care less about anything I was saying. He took what seemed to be at least 10 minutes to even come and speak with us. My kids LOVE coming here. This is where they ask to eat for their birthday dinners each year, and they beg to plenty of other times in between.

When we arrived tonight, my kids beelined for the lobster tank, and one of the hostesses kindly pulled out one of the lobsters and held him so my girls could pet him and watch him grab a straw with some of his back legs, and she sat and talked with my kids for several minutes about lobsters. It was an incredibly sweet interaction, and she went out of her way to make my kids' night before we'd even sat down.

To quote my four year old after she ate one of the biscuits, "This is the best thing I have ever eaten in my life." 🤣 They both ordered crab legs and shrimp, and they polished off half a pound each. I did the endless shrimp; garlic scampi is always my go-to, but I also tried their Crispy Dragon shrimp (fried shrimp rolled in a sweet chili sauce - good flavor and just enough heat to feel it without feeling like I would regret it), and Tequila Lime Shrimp (perfectly seasoned with just the right balance of tart lime juice to balance the smokiness of the spices and grilling). Everything tasted wonderful, and our server, McKenzie, was sweet, attentive, and very patient with my kids when they tried to tell her their life story, serial numbers, and favorite sea creatures. 😆 We always have a good experience here, and we will definitely...
