Typically not one to leave any sort of scathing review for any place of business, unless it just absolutely calls for it, and unfortunately this one does. First time in, and definitely my last. This experience was far below subpar, from the service to the food itself. Also, there were a few cobwebs on the hanging lamps above the table with one missing bulb and another burnt out, so upkeep/general maintaining and attention to detail does not exist here. As far as service, we ordered all together and somehow our food came out 3 times separately over a span of 20-30 minutes. 3 burger meals, quesadilla and a chicken fried steak (There were only 5 of us.) I’d give a guess there isn’t someone expediting properly in the kitchen. Burgers were okay, fries were the only saving grace here. The Mac and cheese is sad, just dry noodles with shredded cheese melted onto them. Quesadilla was tolerable but the chicken was similar to canned chicken, nothing to write home to mom about. The chicken fried steak was definitely the worst out of all 5 meals, the gravy and mashed potatoes did not taste right, almost as if rancid cream/milk was used in the making of these, if not you may want to change your recipe. The steak was bland, breading didn’t stick at all and fell off easily quickly becoming a mushy mess. The green beans, hard to mess up, were the only edible portion of this meal. Good news our waitress did keep our drinks filled and was kind. Kitchen issues...
Read moreHave eaten there (3) three times. Each time there has been an issue. Simple mistakes but still annoying. First time we be ordered the cheese curds as an appetizer and they can out after our entrees. The manager comp the app and apologized for the mistake. Second time. App came out as it should. Entrees were right except for my wife’s. (I would not recommend the meatloaf, it was meh at best) She got a burger when she had ordered the turkey avocado sandwich. Manager comp the sandwich and gave us a voucher for a free meal for her. So tonight we ventured to use the voucher and enjoy a no kid night. App was great came out fast, the chips for the trio dip were a bit thick though. She got her turkey Avocado sandwich and I got the tender and shrimp dinner. My meal had what seemed like old fries and a raw chicken strip. Manager apologized as did the waiter and they recooked the meal. The wife was nearly done with hers by the time they delivered mine. I expected fresh fries along with fully cooked chicken. I got over cooked chicken ( wanted to make sure it was done I guess) and I wanna say the same fries from my previous plate. My meal was comped by the manager so I wasn’t going to complain. The okra was great though, pretty sure it was recooked. Drink refills were a little slow. Our waiter had a lot of tables. May or may not go back it’s up in the air. Wife did say that sandwich was pretty...
Read moreI loved the place that came into town. I wasn't expecting too much at first because it had "brewery" in its name but all the food was amazing. I will come back at a later date to update this with a more realistic review as this was the grand opening I went to. So as long as it stays this amazing, I will keep coming back.
I had the cheese bites or curds, and to be honest they weren't that great. They were amazingly crunchy, although they had a surprising lack of cheese. The ranch they came with was divine though.
I also had the sweet potato fries with the spicy caramel and sea-salt with bacon added on top. These things were a bombshell, I loved every bite of it, and mixed with some honey, it got even better.
I don't remember the name of the actual item on the menu, but it was a fried chicken sandwich with honey and pineapple in between a brioche bun. The chicken was made perfectly, nice and juicy and hot. The pineapples tasted freshly sliced. The honey to drizzle over it just made it completely over the top.
Now prices are decent but tend to be on the medium to the higher side. It cost me about thirty dollars to eat here as a singular person, but I did order more than I should have, so overall as long as they keep the quality up I will...
