My Dad took me to eat here and I hadn't been in several years, Aniaha was our server and I had the absolute best experience that I've had from eating in a restaurant in many years. She always had a smile on her face and her ability to always know when her services were needed were exemplary.
This Restaurant is usually a packed house on a daily basis and is alway kept very clean. The bathrooms were also very clean.
The Prime Rib, was very flavorful but trying to relay how you want your meat cooked could very well be improved by a microphone that relays the message to the cooks ear, this would help in getting the right cut of meat cooked at the precise amount of doneness, without any confusion of getting more meat or of rarer quality. As the meat that was placed on my plate was more than rare, and only had less than a one-eighth doneness layer on either side.
This failure to communicate can't be put on the cook for not being able to hear any relayed messages spoken from customer to cook, but falls on the managerial staff that should be thinking of exemplary measures to fix communication issues as the cooks den is overly loud due to the exhaust fans used for an open floor grill. The customer service staff at the registers may need a little less scowl and needs to smile more, and not show their unsatisfied looks as someone is trying to enjoy their payed for meals. Fix the Icecream machine, or get a soft-serve Ice cream bar that has some of the other Golden Corrals' have to serve ice cream from a bucket, have the basic flavors with an exception of mint chocolate chip and cookies and cream and a praline vanilla bean as these would cause your sales to purge the roof. And the salad bar could use extras, about like any Mazzios Pizza has on any given day.

Was the wait worth the results or not?
We visited today Nov 17th 2022 and found the results to be wanting to say any more would be it was a disaster!
If feels crowded not only in the smaller tables and overcrowded dinning areas but there is no flow in the very much smaller buffet area it’s one dead end after another.
Not like before where you were able to move in any direction but you actually had elbow room. Now you feel like your more in the way of the other guests.
The entry way feels larger and it seems the kitchen has been expanded. But the only expansion in the dining rooms was more tables which seem to be smaller in size.
The only upside was our Waitress was very very good and very pleasant to speak with.
My suggestion is re-remodel the dinning room and give us room to enjoy the restaurant how we used too.
It was so crowded feeling that, it seems it was intentional in design, in order to rush us out of the restaurant. Causing us to not eat as much giving them more profits, an at the same time they can get more...
Read moreVisited today for my son's 15th birthday. He went to bite down on the fried catfish and it was so solid it hurt his teeth, He had to snap it with his hands to reveal cold dried yellow fish. I told the cashier who rudely took it from my hand and threw it in the trash can. I asked for the manager, turns out he was the manager. No apology. Just rudeness. He did tell me that some fresh fish just came out. I noticed that the bathrooms were very unsanitary but felt it was pointless to say anything. As we were leaving my oldest son used the bathroom, when he came outside he was upset. He said that when he flushed the urinal there was a phlem on the handle. After he had washed it off he tried to wipe it off so this doesn't happen to the next person but no paper towels were to be found. When he told a member of staff, she told him that it didn't matter as they were closing soon( 40 mins). It cost me $83. For 5 people to eat. Rude staff and disgusting bathrooms. We will not be returning.and I do not recommend this...
