Well finally the weekend came and the wife and I decide to drive down here and try Jose's Mexican restaurant. From the time that we walked in, we felt like this was going to be definitely worth the drive. We came hungry and we ordered two barbacoa tacos with beans and rice. Two carne asada and two al pastor tacos with one sope and then I added the menudo. Yep that's how we get down. Everything was very good. It was fresh as expected. The guacamole you can tell that it was really fresh. We had to add a little bit of salt which I believe it was set up like that and it tasted so good. First experience was helpful staff and authentic, delicious food at a great price in a clean and bright diner style atmosphere. Second was equally as perfect. As you enter, you order from the register. Everything is explained at the register menu from Spanish to English but if you have any questions the staff is friendly. They don’t advertise their horchata made in-house but they don’t have too. It goes quickly. Get one of these.
