Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I ordered through the app and was set to pick up at the drive thru. Changed my mind after sitting in the drive thru line for 5 minutes without moving and decided to pick up at the counter instead, which you can change on the app and I did.
Go inside and the counter is backed up with people waiting for food or waiting to order. My order was on the screen so I knew it was at least in the queue. People kept coming in the door and I saw at least 3 people ask if they could order and one employee said "she'll be right back to take your order." Spoiler alert: nobody was taking any food orders. They should've just directed everyone to one of their two kiosks or the app.
I did get my food, all correctly prepared, but it took over 20 minutes from the time I parked to get it. There seemed to be a breakdown between the people preparing the food and getting it organized and handed to the customer because my order disappeared off the screen nearly 10 mins before they actually handed it to me. Pretty sure it just sat there waiting to be given to me.
And while all this was going on, one of the employees took food out to a customer and I watched her stand and chat for at least a minute with the customers while the people inside were drowning. It also looked like shift change was happening because I saw 3 workers leave while I was there, which was 1145 on a Sunday. Seems like an odd time for a shift change but I dunno.
This place seriously lacks leadership. Nobody seemed to be in charge and nobody was doing anything to fix problems. I watched at least 2 or 3 people walk out the door after waiting too long without anyone...
Read moreI don't know who told them that not opening until 5am on Friday morning means that they are open 24 hours on Fridays, but that is only 19 hours. Also, more than once I have gotten into the drive thru line before or at 11pm but they are so slow that by the time you pull up to the speaker to order it is midnight and they tell me that they are closed and can't take my order. When I try to explain to them that I was in line prior to closing, they won't even respond. I have sat at the menu in one lane waiting to have my order taken and they will take several orders in a row from the other lane. Once I asked the employee at the first window why that keeps happening and I was told that I was wrong. I placed an order for a double cheeseburger and a large order of fries and had to pull off to the side to wait. After sitting in my car for more than 20 minutes, I pulled around to the front and went inside. It took another 15 minutes for someone to even come to the register to see what I needed. I explained what happened and that I wanted a refund. It took another 20 minutes to get the manager to come authorize the refund. When the drive thru line is really long, I will go inside instead, thinking that maybe it will save time but then nobody greets you when you enter. I have stood at the register for more than 10 minutes and not had an employee even acknowledge I was there. It doesn't matter what time of day it is, the employees at this location are the absolute rudest people. I don't know who the owner is but they need to fire everyone who pretends to work at...
Read moreStopped in the parking lot to pay for my app food that I did online for my getting deals and when I got to the speaker was told that they were not serving because food wasn't prepared and had to ask them to cancel the order such bad service luckily there was another McDonald's down the road learned that that McDonald's was owned by the same company they were serving the food that I ordered I couldn't transfer my app order but they gave me the same deal and the free sandwich breakfast I just had to pay for my drinks luckily after talking to them at the other McDonald's they helped me with my order but I tried to call back to the other McDonald's no one knew how to cancel my order and I told them that the other McDonald's said you could cancel the order very horrible McDonald's on 19th Street in Norman Oklahoma I hope management sees this I tried calling again during the day to file my complaint talk to a manager was explaining the story and she hung up on me tried to call back multiple times but got no where. I hope management sees this and follows my complaint this happened on 01/28/2024. I just couldn't understand how one McDonald's could do the appropriate thing and the other one on 19th Street could not. Both times when I first went to the McDonald's it was a male sounded Spanish sounded like a Spanish male.
