Genuine question. What’s the point of having tamale in the restaurant name, when you don’t serve tamales? Been here 5 times. First time ever there, shortly after they opened actually, they had only 6 chicken tamales left. They were actually really good. The last 3 times they had zero tamales of any kind, but we ordered something else. The food was ok, but a good price. The staff were always friendly but a little confused. I’m assuming it’s because there a brand new restaurant and a language barrier. Which is fine, that’s the great thing about translation appps. This time we called ahead and they said that they had tamales. We came, we asked and they acted as if they never ever even had someone ever call the store or even knew what the word tamale was. I said it was fine, and was leaving when the manager(I’m assuming based on their clothes and understanding of the store) came out and informed that they don’t serve those here, but have other options on the menu, such as tacos. I’m honestly more confused...
