Although we love the food, we had the worst experience we have EVER had at ANY restaurant on Easter Sunday, 2016. We arrived at 13:53 OM, AFTER the lunch rush. They took our order and we took a seat. The people there before us were talking to each other to about not receiving their food yet. Order numbers were being called out and it appeared people had walked out without their food because it was taking so long. Trying to speak to the staff was useless because they #1 just said we are buys and #2 even managers were being rude to the customers. We had ordered gizzards, which is a special order. Even after 30 minutes, and lots of complaining by customers other than us, everyone had their food EXCEPT US. Another talk with a different manager and we were told they hadn't even started or imprudent. That was all the patience we had. We walked out. It makes me sick, because we love their food, but we aren't going to patronize a company that could care less about us. I will be checking back, but I doubt my complaint will be left on this page. The staff was hurried but not unkind. We were told there would be an 8-minute wait for the dark chicken that I like, and we were fine with that. The lobby was clean, and an associate even came out to sweep, and wipe down the few tables needed looking after. The drive-thru line, from what I could tell, moved quickly. Lots of communication between the associates. Our order was hot and fresh, and as we were leaving, an hangry and frustrated Door Dash driver came in to yell and complain; I wanted to tell him to calm down and observe: IT'S A SUNDAY LUNCH RUSH. You and your customer should understand that, especially on a Sunday when most businesses are severely understaffed. Read moreI went through the drive thru to order gizzards because they cook the gizzards up fresh each time I have ordered them before today and I am almost positive they were cooked up fresh today as well. The reason I am leaving a comment today is the gizzards I received in this order looked like crumbs off of a piece of chicken there wasn't any meat to them at all plus what meat they did have on them were cooked so hard you couldn't even tell that it was a gizzard or just a crumb. So I parked my truck & went inside to show the manager or the person in charge. The sweet young lady that waited on me at the drivethru was the one that waited on me when I went inside also. She called the manager to the front & I showed her the Gizzards & she said it's what they delivered to them & they have no way of controlling the size of the stuff they get in so I ask her if she could replace them with regular chicken which she did nicely and I thanked her and went on my way.
