Went into the store at this location on 01/18/2017 at approximately 7:30PM. I was the only customer in the store, and realized that they would be closing at 8PM, but I figured they would be able to knock out my order pretty quickly. I ordered two large Garden Gobbler Melts and a regular Turkey Melt to go. The young lady taking my order was pleasant enough, but once the order went back to kitchen things went downhill. I heard huge racket as though someone was banging spatulas or knives on a flat top. This went on for at least 10 minutes or so, after which the young lady gave me my order. I took this food home and gave it to my step daughter and wife. The garden gobblers, both mine and that for my wife, were lacking some of the ingredients and seemed as though they had been skimped on, what's more, they were both so super salty as to border on inedible. My wife wound up throwing away most of the bread and eating what meagre filling there was. I am highly disappointed, I have ordered this sandwich literally dozens of times from other City Bites locations, and have never had this disappointing experience......
Read moreI was asked by some friends to meet them here, and it was my first time. I did not enjoy my time here. I stood at the cashier feeling like a fool because the staff stood in the back just kept yelling 'register,' meaning for someone to get it, and after a few minutes and awkward stares, someone came over to replace the intended cashier. I was going to order a loaded baked potato, but when I arrived at 5:45pm on a Tuesday, they were out of baked potatoes and it would be a 25-minute wait. I knew we weren't staying very long, and that I could head home and make one myself and eat it in a quicker time than that, so I decided to pass. I didn't order anything. The wait and the $10 price weren't worth it in my opinion. The place felt crammed and dingy. They had a TV playing the news. I really don't feel like giving the place a second chance. My experience could have been made better by being greeted, waited on out sooner, and the news about the wait on food could have been broken to me more...
Read moreWe love this place in Mustang. Today, though, I observed an employee making sandwiches, reaching into toppings with bare hands and come around to work the register. When I asked for them manager to mention so he could educate/correct, the person who said he was the manager stared at me blankly. I stated that this was very gross. He said she washes before she goes back to food. I asked don't they wear gloves to prepare food. He stared blankly at me and said yes. That was the end of the interaction. He was obviously ill equipped and nervous to handle such an interaction. Sad. And very gross. I looked for how to contact the store owner, but couldn't find more than just the store number. An email or contact for store managers available might eliminate an embarrassing public review in the future... maybe. I'm torn if I will come back. It's one of the few best places in Mustang. Seems processes have gotten a little sloppy. I'm sure they could easily be...
