Food: I personally liked the food. I got the Country Benedict. They used a thin sausage patty which I prefer over a thick patty. The country gravy seemed to lack sausage but was still tasty. I got onions with my home fries, they were delicious and cooked to perfection! They were cut up into cubes and had a crispy outside which is also my preference. The biscuit might have been my favorite of it all and I’m not a huge fan of biscuits. Was very soft but firm to were it held up well. I was pleasantly pleased.
My sister got Crab Cake Benedict and she was far less pleased with her meal. I tried it and the first crab cake was definitely a little fishy tasting however the second one was decent. Both seemed to be undercooked in my opinion. The home fry potatoes were not as good without the onions due to lack of flavor.
My Niece and Nephew got pancakes as well as French toast. Both seemed to really enjoy theirs considering they got eaten in entirety. I tried the pancake and it was solid. Pretty hard to mess that up though.
Service: We were sat down almost immediately upon arrival. They were definitely busy. The service was a little slow but again they were busy so quite understandable. Everyone was polite and well spoken. Getting coffee refills was a little bit of a wait but in general the service was good with no complaints.
Overall for me, was a great atmosphere with pretty good food. I’d definitely would eat here again if back out this way. Wish I took pictures because the food was...
Read moreMy high star ratjng is for food not waitress My wife and I have been coming here for 2 years now and we love the food the wait staff are always wonderful. We'll then today we got sat over by where the waitresses come out we get our drinks, we order our food, our waitress who had black straight hair walked past us multiple times never once asking if we would like more drinks. We then got our food and thinking she would ask us do we want refills or can I get you anything else, she dropped and walked off, we put our drink glasses at the end of the table since we were invisible. Our waitress walks past us 6 times with other people's drinks and filling other people's coffee and water but not us I mean we literally were the first thing you see when coming into dining room. We do not see her at our table until she drops the check and walks off again. Now I take the check and my card and place it ON THE EMPTY GLASSES and she just is completely oblivious grabs it and walks off. We still enjoy this place but I will never have her as a waitress again yes I could have said may I have some more coffee and water but this is what she gets paid for was I supposed to get up and get the drinks myself and it was just our table she ignored, was not happy...

Croatia native and owner Alex Prnokaj has traveled the world, owned a restaurant in New York and now calls Mrytle Beach home. Interior is an open floor plan with padded booths, wood chairs and tables and even limited counter seating. High ceiling and front glass makes it bright and airy with a feel of a small town cafe. My Golfers Special came with two filled plates of my choice of eggs, two strips of bacon and one thick sausage, home fries or grits and two pancakes or two French toast. The hearty offering was more than I could eat and I thoroughly enjoyed the simple scrambled eggs, thin bacon strips, seasoned home fries and the tasty sausage. My only disappointment was the doughy pancakes. Overall taste and texture was good but hitting the milky center was not. But putting that aside I was very pleased with the generous serving, reasonable prices, made from scratch cooking and friendly service. Savanna brought her customer service A game with friendliness and efficiency. I would certainly return if ever again...
