My lovely wife, our cute dog, Jazz, and I decided to try out the Sneaky Beagle for lunch the other day. What a great time it was. It was nice to bring our cute dog to lunch. We sat out side on the porch. The waitress, Brittany, came over and took our drink orders while we looked over the menu. She brought our drinks over and Jazz got a glass w/bowl of water. Well I ordered for Jazz and got her cookie dough bites. They came in 4 balls. She loved them. She didn’t leave anything behind !! My lovely wife ordered Build Your Own w/mixed greens. Man did she build it. She added craisins, mushrooms, cheddar cheese, sun flower seeds, and grilled chicken w/ranch dressing. She really enjoyed it and had plenty leftover to take home. I ordered the 2 tacos w/ one side. I chose the Buffalo Chicken taco and the thanksgiving taco. The Buffalo chicken had a real good bite to it and had plenty of chicken. Was very tasty. Now the thanksgiving taco .. WOW. The best taco I ever had. Had so much flavor. I thought I was sitting down for a turkey dinner. I will definitely have this again. Might order two of them next time. Would highly recommend this taco. Almost forgot, I ordered for my side vanilla rice. It was very good with a little sweet taste Our waitress, Brittany was very good. She was very attentive, coming over asking if everything was all right, was alway there to fill our drink orders, and asking if we needed anything else. It was lovely sitting outside. Patio was nice and clean. Give it an A+. Food was very tasty and plenty of it. Another A+ for food. And another A+ for our waitress Brittany. She is truly an asset to the Sneaky Beagle. Highly recommend this restaurant especially if you want to take your four legged friend out with you....
Read moreVery disappointed in this restaurant. We were seated in the very back patio due to my anxiety the young lady that seated us was very professional about seating us were I could be secluded due to my anxiety level and not wanting to be seated around others. Due to the fact that it was dark and the second strands of lights were not working they refused to serve us unless we moved to a more crowded area after I just told 2 of the waitresses I did not want to move .. so instead of telling us they were not gonna serve us out there they let us sit out there 30 min eithout taking our order. the one waitress said if you want to sit there fine. After waiting about 30 min for someone to wait on us I finally got up and found Dana the 1st original waitress that came to us with a very poor attitude said they were not gonna serve us unless we moved. There was no sign stating we could not sit back there. Dana had a really nasty attitude I was disrespected in so many ways. Like I said I have severe panic attacks and anxiety and I told this Dana that and she said it didn't matter that I needed to move closer to everyone else. When we finally decided to move up closer our food came out I asked this Dana for some ranch and her reply basically was I'm not your waitress so I can't help you...she is a poor excuse for a waitress and since I am an RN with anxiety she made it escalate to a whole different level. Her attitude was very poor...they made no effort to work with me especially Dana she was very rude and arrogant. We come here all the time and never had a waitress so disrespectful to someone that suffers from severe anxiety. I would not recommend this...
Read moreBe warned, DO NOT PAY WITH CASH.
I went to dinner with my parents and my parents decided to pay with cash to avoid the credit card fees. She brought our check back quickly (paid with card) but walked away immediately and didn’t bring my parents change with no explanation. We then spent 20 minutes trying to flag down our waitress and she avoided us the entire time. We had to enlist several other employees to try to help us get her attention just so we could get their change for the bill. After 20 minutes she brought out most of the change but not all (and no receipt) and told us the bar didn’t have change at the time and that caused the delay. We spoke to the general manager and she informed us that you specifically have to request your change back if paying with cash. Apparently it’s policy to assume all change is a tip? It’s odd to feel like you’re being penalized for paying with cash when the restaurant seems to incentivize you with a discount. It’s not really a discount if they run away with your change though.
We have loved Sneaky over the years and generally have had good service and decent food but this shady practice really gave us such a bad vibe. I really hope they reconsider the cash discount aspect so employees don’t run off with your change. I always will give people the benefit of the doubt but to have us wait for 20 minutes and go out of your way to avoid us really makes it difficult to do so.
Update after restaurant response: There were 4 of us at the table and not a single person heard her ask if we wanted the change back, because she didn’t. I have no incentive to...
