5 Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ experience with impeccable staff such as Kelly our server and the Manager Kylie at the Scrambled Kitchen and Coffee. Very friendly and attentive. With Alex working the bar the day I called to say how great Kelly (our server)// the Manager Kylie was, and our meal was simply outstanding.... Well, a mix of good old fashion kindness at this restaurant.
Tucked away in a little small shopping plaza located on 4999 Carolina Forest Blvd - Ste 18 Myrtle Beach, North Carolina. A sweet experience that is so busy on Mother's Day -- afternoon brunch with the seniors and a good old fashioned church group will take up 4 tables of joy quite often -- we were told... That kind of loyalty is a testament to the management and staff. We felt these teams went above and beyond to ensure all are happy and the food is delicious!
✔️✔️ One asks why so much happiness is a good question to ask. So, follow me down the yellow brick road and go inside and check it out. Wait, one of the Managers, Kylie, who I see is so full of energy and professionalism. 🏁🏁Yes Kylie will greet everyone with a smile and one will feel they are welcome at the Scrambled Kitchen and Coffee. ✔️✔️ Oh by the way Alex works at the bar and made my day with one phone call. 🎈🎈Yes Alex says, "No one is here right now but I am". Alex assisted me in acquiring the information about his team members. He was kind and patient as I detailed our delight in the restaurant's awesome team members and Kylie Management//the menu.
🎈🎈Oh my is that the fairy princess from Philly (laugh didn't ask if she was an Eagles fan) but America was watching that amazing game... Great Super Bowl for the Eagles and I say that as a Packers fan. ✔️✔️Kelly was an exceptional person with kindness streaming from her soul. Kelly made such an impression as did the manager Kylie. We went back the next day. We are a 🇱🇷🇱🇷 military family (retired USN) but our -- is still on active duty. ✔️✔️900 or so Vets were in town for the Veteran's Classic and the Scrambled Kitchen and Coffee welcomed us in with open arms. We stayed at the Marriott Resort that -- will say --time to go -- to all guests -- around 1000 a.m. Resorts keep all moving for good reason. ✔️✔️Now at this restaurant Kelly our server said, "Oh no problem you guys can be here." No rush she exclaimed! Down home southern charm at its best. ✔️ ✔️This location is beautifully designed and with a touch of class it felt like I didn't want to leave. Kelly and Kylie were the best of the best. Go down and see them and you won't want to leave either. Your average morning meal will be unforgettable! From the moment you step inside, the aroma of sizzling goodness lets you know you're in for something special. ✔️✔️But let me be clear: you must try the corned beef hash omelet.
This isn’t your run-of-the-mill diner dish. It's rich, savory and oh so good. My husband had the eggs and bacon/wheat toast -- oh wait and see the toast is buttered just right. Taste it first and you will see its plenty of butter. Apparently, the staff just brushes it on... Ok try it first (✔️ beneficial suggestion only)
If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, this place makes sure it’s also the most delicious. Don’t just take my word for it—go hungry and prepare...
Read moreAfter Brandon seated us in one of the booths, he told us that he would also be our waiter. I immediately proceeded to the restroom which was clean, spacious and pleasantly renovated. I especially enjoyed that a splash carpet was placed at the base of the toilet👍🏼
The menu had a large selection of items such that my wife, who has dietary restrictions (sodium and excessive carbohydrates), had no difficulty finding several items that she was eager to try. She ordered Eggs Benedict Florentine with fruit salad (no bananas) and I immediately zoomed in on the Elevensies (creative name!). In the meantime, Brandon was thoughtfully attentive and he didn’t rush the check before we had finished. Although he did offer to bring it earlier.
We noticed that plates were warm and the food remained warm throughout our meals. Every layer of the eggs Florentine (including the tomatoes) was warm and delicious. The feta cheese had both large and small pieces😃 The combination of flavors were simply delicious. The challah French toast was thick, fluffy and mouthwatering. The over-medium eggs were cooked perfectly and the sausage was delicious. A note of caution, the bacon was served extra crispy and I like mine cooked a little less than crispy😎
A wonderful brunch in the forest for sure. Well done to the...
Read moreLove this place. Since it opened they have had it moving on point. Staff is friendly, welcoming, and eager to provide a wonderful early dining experience. The owner Jason makes rounds and ensures everything is exceeding your standards. He openly engages in conversation and you can see how much pride he takes in his restaurant. I intend to bring my family here for as long as they are around.
The prices are average and fair for the perfect portions of food. One thing that stood out was the quality of the ingredients which I feel is much rarer to experience today with costs to operate and many places cutting corners to expand on margins. We sampled a bit of everything and we were not disappointed in a single thing. They even had a breakfast with Santa for the kids and I will say as much as I do not stick around for long wait times to get a table, I'm glad I made an exception here. We waited 35 minutes which was less than some that had nearly an hour wait. With so many families cutting back on expenses and eating out less, the fact that this new breakfast/lunch spot is packed often speaks volumes to the overall experience offered here. Kudos to the...
