Rolled in on a Monday night, because we were in the area and I've really been wanting to try this new spot. I came for the BBQ pulled pork. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, with a side of coleslaw and a sweet tea. The sandwich did have a good amount of BBQ on it and the side of coleslaw was huge. Nothing was bad but none of it drew me in for more either. The BBQ was fine but it wasn't loaded with flavor or smokiness. I used the Eastern NC sauce, which also lacked punch. The coleslaw was on the bland side. It wasn't bad it just wasn't great either. The one thing I did find that I would've enjoyed more of was their "Sticky Sauce". It has a great sweet flavor to the body of it and finishes with a little punch of heat. On a weeknight in the area of International Dr, it will scratch the itch but don't expect much more, and with so many other BBQ joints within 15 minutes, I would probably pass this one. Like good BBQ, I'm hoping they get better with time.

We ordered from a delivery service. It was on time and prepared perfectly. The portions are good, 1/2 rack ribs. Pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket. Sides were fries, baked beans, and sweet potato casserole. The baked beans were really good (a bit too sweet for me, but nonetheless very well prepared). The cornbread was moist and flavorful, a must have and the pickled onions, wow! One of the best things is their FB sauce, just enough tang and just enough sweet, I prefer it a bit hotter, but for someone that doesn't eat spicy, this is great. The only disappointment was the brisket tacos. It was all fat and burnt (really, really, inedible burnt ends), barely any actual meat. If we had eaten at the restaurant, we would have sent it back. It was leftover pieces of old brisket in a taco. Overall it was good. Would we return, considering the vast numbers of BBQ places in the area, not likely.

My family and I visited this spot while we were on vacation in Myrtle Beach. We walked in with a sizeable takeout order of Ribs, Bake Beans, Potato Salad, Sliced Brisket, Collards, Mac & Cheese, Banana Pudding and Sweet Potato Casserole. The ribs were pull off the bone delicious! They had different varieties of sauces but I kept my ribs dry. I'm glad I did because they had the perfect rub seasoning. The baked beans were also packed with the barbeque flavor that baked beans should have. The Potato salad was a little too creamy for me but still had plenty of egg and potato in every spoonful. Collards melted in my mouth. The brisket was meaty and juicy. The sweet potato casserole had the right blend of ingredients and consistency that brought out the sweetness of the sweet potatoes. The meal was finished with their banana pudding. It did not let me down. It was creamy and packed with banana flavor.

I was disappointed that I didn't get the Mac & Cheese and thinking that I would never be back in the area again I just let it go. But, I found myself back in the area so the family and I decided to stop and to see if I could get my mac & cheese. I explained what had happened and the staff was very friendly and understanding. Spoke with the manager Nicole who displayed true concern and what customer service is supposed to be like. She fulfilled my mac & cheese order and included other items that I had wanted to try but forgot to order. I can't say enough good things about her and the staff!

So I have to tell you I'm glad I went back. The mac & cheese was great and some of the cheesiest I've ever had. The sweet cornbread was comparable to something my mother would have made with the home-cooked flavor. And finally, I couldn't get enough of the pull chicken. Also seasoned well and was juicy.

I wish I had taken some pictures. But, the food didn't last long enough for me to. If you are visiting Myrtle Beach or live in the area you have to stop at this spot. The menu is filled with items that have the delicious barbeque flavor that you are looking for and customer service...

This place has potential but needs work. I was very happy to see this place open. Then, I was disappointed when I went in. I do have an understanding of things running out and not a big deal. Maybe we'll be able to try their burnt ends one day. The brisket looked good, moist and hard a decent bark, but there wasn't much smoke flavor. Pulled pork had a texture to it I couldn't point out. The flavors were ok. Service, they all had smiles, but some seemed forced. I felt bad for the servers on the line, for a lot of the food was out, and they had no information on when it got replaced. This needs to be worked on. If your kitchen staff can't talk to your servers and same goes for servers letting kitchen know your almost out before its to late. This place won't make it. I have been to a lot of places this happens to but the staff makes up for it by their attitudes and communication. Now, back to the food. Brisket was moist, but flavor wasn't really their to make me want to pay the price. The pork really didn't have much flavor as if they depended on guest always adding sauce. The little bit of smoke you get tastes like it came from an electric smoker with liquid smoke added to help. The place is small but nice and kept clean. For the size of what they have, there is decent space. I do see this place potentially getting better as long as the staff can communicate better, which will keep your line moving. Add some flavor to your food. Since this place just opened, I will give it some time...

First of all this review has nothing to do with staff. Staff was pleasant, calm, and held a friendly demeanor. What threw me off was the food. It was greasy.. some lacking in flavor and most certainly salty. I only ordered 2 things as I am a former pescatarian just starting to try new things. I was going to film my experience for my yt channel while eating here but upon tasting the okra ( which I was excited for) I quickly turned my phone off instead of filming. I knew instantly the food was not right. The okra tasted heavy, was falling apart and tasted to have a mixture of salt and sugar thrown on top. It wasn’t good. I didn’t even touch it after 2 pieces. The pulled pork tasted kind of tangy like it sat all day and lacked any smokiness to the meat. Just tasted like a broiled and sweaty mess. I’m sorry but this is not good food. After spending years in Ohio and eating city bbq; I was expecting so much better but I will never return here. The inside was cold in temperature as well as decor. Lacked warmth in the decoration which made me fall asleep even faster after such a long trip up there. I ended up throwing up my food once I returned home. Just was not good food. The service was awesome but food is not the quality I would recommend to anyone. I normally don’t write reviews but I just HAD...
