Brew Thru Jockey's Ridge — Restaurant in Nags Head

Super surprised, heard so many great things about this place. Rented a house only 400ft from this spot. Excited to go there to pick up an awesome selection of local and domestic beer. Decided to walk over being that it was only 400ft. While I realize it goes against the grain of the establishment, figured it wouldn’t be a problem. Walked through with some of my family and even my one year old niece. We were first met with a rude younger woman who demanded that since we were walking through we had to buy a shirt in order to buy beer. Because in her words “drunk individuals in the past have destroyed some property”. What that had to do with us trying to simply buy beer, I’m not sure. Initially I thought she was joking, until she assured my party she was not. Upon hearing that I felt taken advantage of and even extorted to buy their cheap t-shirts in order to just pick up some beer for dinner. Met with poor customer service. I decided then and there I would not be buying beer or ever going...

Pretty much a must do if you are visiting the Outer Banks. An OBX staple forever, just pull in tell the attendant what you want and walla your good to go. They have a pretty good selection of most drinks and beers. We more tend to stop now due to traditional then anything else get a couple of drinks and my wife gets a yearly tee-shirt. The probably sell as many shirts as booze, great logo and lots of different items to choose from for a souvenir. Staff has always been helpful. Great gimic and worth checking out and seeing if it's for you. Just make sure you know what you want, you can hold other people up if your sitting trying to...

What is there to hate about a drive through beer and wine location?! If you want hard liquors, head over to ABC liquors but if you just want beer or wine, drive through this location. The staff is very kind, quick, and attentive!
