Second attempt at this place, just as bad as the first comment below this review!

July 2019 Came here for a second chance, but there will be no more chances. Service is bad as usual and the kitchen can never get it together. the only thing this place is good for is the view, that's it! We felt rushed as soon as we sat down. He kept asking us what bar drinks we wanted, I had no clue, didn't have a chance to look at the menu. My boyfriend doesn't drink anyway. He rushed over some waters and asked again what drinks we wanted, again, still looking at the menu dude, he then walked off because I couldn't make up my mind. I gave up and started looking at the dinner menu. Again, just started looking at the food, he asked, were we ready. I was getting very irritated at that point. finally I decided on the same thing I got last time, or should I say almost. I ordered the Tuna ruben with slaw, and asked what bread they had other than rye bread because I can't have rye. He said white or wheat. I asked if they had a sour dough, he said no, just white or wheat. So I asked if the white bread was thick or thin, he said it's just regular white. I knew then, it would just get soggy, so I opted for a bun. I also ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms and a Mojito. When the stuffed mushrooms came out, there was no flavor. When my food came out, again for the second time, the kitchen did not put 1000 island on my Tuna Ruben, which clearly states on the menu 1000 Island. So again, had to ask for it and again took forever for him to bring it out thus my sandwich getting soggy and cold. I'm sorry, but I'm a waitress and bartender where I live. This is not how you do things. If I had someone ask for a sauce, regardless if I have food coming up for another table or so forth, I would have quickly ran that sauce out before I loaded that tray up and proceeded to run food instead. Not to mention, the fact when I asked for my MISSING sauce, instead of him getting it right away, he was just hanging out just inside the restaurant door having a conversation. Never again, worse place ever to eat in the OBX!

June 2018 Came in yesterday June 21 2018 to eat an early dinner/late lunch around 4pm, right before the storm. Service was horrible! First of all, don't post things on your website that is not available until July! I questioned the Thursday Special and was told it does not start until July? I ordered a Tuna Ruben with fries and a side of Hush puppies. When my food was delivered, the waitress "Anita" disappeared! My Ruben had no 1000 island like it should have had. It took the waitress 15-20 minutes to come back and check on me, by that time my sandwich was cold and soggy. She played it off like I was dumb, telling me that the kitchen put 1000 island on it! I know what the hell 1000 island is, what it tastes like and there was none. She never offered to remake the sandwich, just brought out a side of 1000 island for my cold soggy sandwich. I will go as far to say, there was no tip left due to poor service! You guys need to hire better experience servers. The only thing I enjoyed about this experience was the hush puppies...

Believe the negative reviews of this Oceanside dumpster. The cocktails were mediocre and served in plastic cups. The food wasn’t so bad and the service seemed ok until some miserable old hag thought it was a good idea to disrespect my girlfriend and I. I honestly would give this place 2 out of 5 stars because of the decent views, the vibes, and the excellent live band. The reason I’m giving this place 1 star, and quite honestly I would give it 0 stars if it was possible, was because of the old lady: My gf and I were kissing during the sunset, we had a romantic moment and decided to kiss. It was almost closing time so there were almost no customers left. The old hag hit my gf’s chair hard and told us to stop kissing. It startled my gf, she has a mild heart condition and sudden shocks like that are detrimental to her condition. I went to ask for the owner or the manager to speak to them about what had just happened and the same miserable old loser came to me and said she’s the manager!! I was SHOCKED! I’m a manager at a club in New York City and I would NEVER treat any of my customer with such disrespect! I train my bouncers to escort misbehaving, inebriated clientele with respect! To add insult to injury she gives me an attitude and tells me she’s the manager like she’s revealing to me that she’s Jesus’ daughter (she’s old enough to be anyway). I don’t care if you’re Ivanka Trump! You don’t disrespect me or my gf like that! The establishment can be the fanciest in the world with the best tasting food, but if the staff is disrespectful, all the other qualities are irrelevant! And the manager at that! She’s the face of the restaurant! As a business manager AND business owner myself, I screen my potential employees in much the same way the government does. So the ridiculous staff they have speaks volumes of the owner. Trash begets trash. I would rather go fishing and eat raw fish than ever return to that trailer trash restaurant. It’s not worth the headache just for the views. The views are ok. Do yourselves a favor and...

I was here for labor day weekend and Friday night I decided to order take out there was a older short lady there who took my order I was asking questions about today's special which was the Mahi Mahi and she was pretty rude she couldn't tell me straight up what came with the meal. Then a couple more people came in she walked away and seated them and came back over to me. Anyway I placed two orders and while I was waiting I noticed another waitress waiting on a party of 7 or 8 I was very shocked to hear waitress speak rudely knowing she would more in likely be tipped. And this family of 7 or 8 was spanish btw. I walked out restaurant to grab a drink from the bar very nice young blonde hair girl fixed me martini she is such a sweetheart I made sure I tipped her. Went back to resturant and I noticed lady that waited on me was sticking her hand in my food box she had no business opening my box the was passed from the kitchen don't know why on God green earth why I ate that food.Today is Tuesday and i am still sick not accusing anyone but she was handling money and she did not wash her hands. My symptoms are not getting better diarrhea fever and headache been to emergency room also. ALL I'M SAYING IS I BELIEVE FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART SOMEONE IS PREJUDICE AND FORGIVE ME...
