A quaint bead and jewelry shoppe inside of a larger strip mall layout, the displays and aisles are packed as far as the eye can see in eclectic locally made jewelry. Mostly beach themed, naturally.
There are also original canvases, prints and framed art from locals as well and I picked up a nice canvas print that caught my eye.
For crafters there are thousands of a la carte beads and supplies like clasps, strings and wire to make your own unique jewelry.
The owner was warm and engaging. The store was quite busy when I visited and she did her best to greet everyone, offering help and guiding advice. I tried to be as unobtrusive as possible since I was primarily browsing and despite the amount of people she attended to, still circled back around to ask if I needed help or wanted to look at something in particular.
I mentioned I was shopping for a small project and the owner lavished me with advice and recommendations, even offering to help if I wanted to assemble the craft right there in the store. There was even a couple in the back of the store building a necklace while I was there at the time.
I'm not a bead crafter of any kind, so I can't speak to the price range of the various bead supplies in terms of expensive, but for what I purchased I feel I paid a...
Read moreThe owner was one of the rudest people I've ever encountered! We were looking around and she seemed to be impatient with the time we were taking (we had barely been in the store for 5 minutes) she started asking questions and I had been looking at letting the girls each get a few beads to make into something back home. She was really pushing to buy string, filler beads and everything there. I told her i was looking for a bead for each of them and that we were still looking around. I hadn't even decided what we were doing yet. I saw the sea glass and pointed it out to the girls and the owner mumbled "or we can just stay distracted". I told the girls come on we're leaving because she was being rude to us and we did in fact leave without making a purchase. We will never step foot in...
Read moreThis store is a treasure filled with treasures. Ginny, the owner, is so helpful and welcoming. I wanted to re-string my mala necklace and she helped me pick out everything I needed. She also drilled a hole in a standard 2-hole bead for me so that I could use it as a guru bead.
Cloud Nine has really unique finds, like handmade prayer beads from Tibet. I even picked up some handmade silver beads from Ethiopia. Incredible!! ❤️
They also have beautiful finished jewelry for sale and offer classes - which I'm definitely adding to my "to do" list for next year's vacation when I come back with my mother in law and cousins. It'll be something awesome for us to do while the boys go on their...
