45 Surfside Bakery and Café — Restaurant in Nantucket

Ordered the breakfast croissant online. Online is the best way to order if you don't want to wait in a very long line. My order was ready in 1 hour. Lesson: order early. However, their online menu doesn't offer their bakery items. It was a shame because I would have picked up something if I had seen it on the online menu. It seems they want you to order extra items after you come in. This includes their non-alcoholic drink menu like waters, juices, teas, and coffees. They do have outdoor seating, with and without tables. They have a handicap ramp and plenty of parking. The cafe side is super busy in the mornings. The atmosphere of the staff was professional if a bit pressed. Like I said, they're busy and there was a line at least 5 people deep at any given time. Order early. If you order online, you have to give personal information and your CC. It was easy to use and you just show your order number from the email they send you after the transaction is finished. Looking for breakfast places on the island can be a challenge. Noticing there's more accommodation outside than there is inside this particular day was raining so the inside was very busy. This place is delicious. If you live on Nantucket you probably already go here, if you’re visiting, this is the food place you were looking for that’s not in town. The service is fast and friendly, the coffee was great and the food was delicious. It was recommended to me to get the Tom Brady on Rye bread. So do that if you want.
