Went to Napa for a work conference and stumbled upon this gem. I was there 10 minutes before closing time and the sweet lady behind the counter welcomed me in. She talked about all the different flavors, the history behind them, and what she thought I would like. Decided on chocolate and sweet corn and was not disappointed! The flavor was bold and the texture exceptionally creamy. If I lived in Napa, I would be eating ice cream every day. Please do not snooze on this spot. You will not be disappointed. This place was wonderful. I was visiting the Napa Valley area, and as I was leaving, I just happened to see Chilokos in the corner of my eye. Something told me I must turn around. I'm so glad I did. Had a craving for good ice cream, and this place delivered. Texture was more like fluffy, stretchy Italian gelato. It was really good. The Mexican flavors were different for me, and I really liked the them. I tasted them all. The owners make the ice cream in batches several times a week. This is legit handmade ice cream.
