Peaches Custom Cookies and Cakes — Restaurant in Napa

This is the only photo I have (they’re on my wife’s phone) of the custom vintage cake that I ordered from Peaches (Renee)! Backstory my wife is a vintage nerd/fanatic, and for years has been asking for one but it’s never worked out. I was in search for a baker worried no one would take it because it is super complicated and detailed (she made the cake way more detailed than imagined) and I reached out to her on a chance. I filled out her form and within a day she reached out! I sent her an idea picture with the colors which she absolutely hit on the mark! I marked whipped frosting and she super kindly explained that it’s not super feasible to use the frosting and butter cream will produce a better detailed look (take her word on it)! I’m not usually a buttercream fan but the one she uses isn’t too sweet and I don’t feel like I’m going to get cavities from it either! My wife is a fan and loved it. Now the actual cake was a chocolate cake with raspberry filling. The cake was the perfect balance between light but also rich/satisfying! She doesn’t use that super fake jelly stuff either it tasted like real raspberry and it wasn’t just a weak layer it was present and perfect! Five girlfriends and I planned a surprise weekend in Napa for one of our bestie’s 50th birthday. I found peachescustom on Instagram. Orders were booked out a month out. I took a chance and crossed my fingers so hard I could get squeezed in. Renee happened to have a cancellation on the day I needed a cake and I’m so happy she accommodated my order. Renee was easy to work with and her communication was outstanding. This was very important to me as we were visiting from out of state. Renee baked and designed the perfect cake for our friend who is very particular. It was everything I asked for and what she hoped for. It was also soo very decadent and delicious! Seconds the next day was just as deliciously yummy!! My only regret was not ordering a bigger size cake so we could have 3rds 🙂. Renee answered promptly to my inquiry! after reaching out to a few other people for cookies for a baby shower and birthday she was my last hope (as others were fully booked for the year) and I am so glad her page popped up on my Instagram feed!!! I answered her easy to follow inquiry and she replied in less than a day and was available to take both orders!

Now let me tell you about the cookies! Her eye for detail and taste was beyond what I could ask for!! Everyone at the baby shower complemented on how beautiful the cookies were and did not want to eat them just because they were soo soo nice! ….. eventually everyone ate their cookie and couldn’t stop raving how good they were! Highly recommend for any event she’s amazing!! Can’t wait for our next order pick up in a few weeks for our sons birthday...
