The River Club — Attraction in Napa

We were absolutely thrilled with our visit to The River Club in Napa! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the venue's unique charm--a cool, brightly decorated space on the river that sets the perfect backdrop for a relaxing day out. It's incredibly kid-friendly and pet-friendly, which made our visit so much more enjoyable and stress-free. We have two kids, and they have a kid's corner that kept them active while we got to sample the wines.

The service was top-notch, and the hosts were outstanding, genuinely friendly, and attentive, making us feel right at home. And let's talk about the wine--fantastic selections: Rose, Pinot, Mourvedre, Syrah, and Grenache. It was so refreshing to try other varietals outside of Cabernet! To top it all off, the price point was more than reasonable for our incredible experience. We recommend doing the River Club Tasting; you can try wines from both brands representing the River Club - Belong Wine Co & Paper Planes. If you taste it here, you will get the opportunity to meet the founders of the two brands. They are on the floor handling all the hospitality, which is rare in Napa Valley! Alli, Bertus, Laura, and Kyle, the founders, have put so much of their hearts and souls into this venue, service, and wine; it shows through in every aspect from start to finish. It is impossible not to leave with wine or join the club!

To capture our experience at The River Club, we’d use words like welcoming, inspiring, charming, and damn delicious! Alli guided us through the tasting with a touch of magic, sharing her family’s story and their journey in uniting with the other half of The River Club. We deeply admire these four individuals who pursued their shared dream (while juggling kids, animals, and day jobs!) and achieved it, one self-painted mural at a time. So impressed with our visit to the River Club! The ambiance was fantastic, with intentional, beautiful decor, and boasting beautiful views of the Napa River and beyond!

The wines from both Belong and Paper Planes are so complimentary - and the quality is so apparent!!! The team is vert welcoming - Alli and Bertus hosted us and led us so beautiful through all of the wines - we were truly grateful for their time they gave to us!
