I took my mom for her Birthday, not only my mom but my entire family and when we order I asked for the meat well done and my mom and dads plates ( tampiquena) the meat was under cooked they took my dads plate and gave him a brand new plate, however this time it was salty and they just took my moms piece of meat and said they cooked it, however as she was eating it she had a bite or two and then it was undercooked again. My dad then r fused to eat his food and the waiter went and got the manager and she offered to get him something else and my dad said he didn't want anything else he was disappointed. And Wendy the manager gave me my money back for it. We are not the type of people that like to get free food. However, I liked how she took care of us and went ahead and refunded my money back for my mom and dads plate. My parents had a bad experience eating there. And for a moment I told the manager I would stop going there but the way she handle my issue made me feel like they care about their customers. I will be going back. Like I mentioned before I go there often I just don't know what happened today. But I can say I'm happy the way they handle...

The lack of customer service at this place is amazing to me, being that the food is mediocre at best! My third time trying this place ONLY because my husband thinks that the food is ok. Eache time I've tried this place, the employees that work the drive-thru always display an arrogant attitude, as if they are doing me a favor by taking my order in the first place, HA! Uh, just so you know, there are BETTER taco joints in the area and the only reason that we stopped by today was because they have a drive thru. Today I tried a chicken taco and couldn't believe that the diced chicken that they threw on the taco shell tasted as if it came from the bags of chicken that you purchase at the grocery store. Oh, did I mention that the quality of the food is just average, again at best! I can't understand how people continue to dine at this place on Friday nights. I guess poor quality food and no customer service doesn't matter to...

We are here visiting our son who just moved to this area. We found this cafe and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Our breakfast was delicious but my Pumpkin Spice Latte made by Megan made my breakfast complete. We are from Rhode Island and when we come back to visit our son again we will be back to visit Egg Harbor Cafe. I look forward to Megan sharing her new seasonal flavor of Latte. Decided to drop by for a late lunch. This place always seems to be very busy. It is a quick and casual place to eat good authentic Mexican food. I had the $7.99 two taco plate. The rice is very good and had nice flavor. They offer a small bowl of free chips if you eat in. There are 3-4 salsa varieties that are made fresh each day. The staff were very nice and attentive.
