Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Naperville

A huge disappointed! I went over a month ago and ordered five $5 boneless boxes and got home to find that each box was filled with chunks of crust and very few of those chunks contained chicken. I called and the manager said he had written my name down and he would give me the same order upon my next visit. So I went after working a long day on a Saturday weeks later to order dinner for the family forgetting about the previous experience until I started to place the order at drive thru. So I asked if they could find my name on the list. The manage said it wasn't there but he could givve me a discount on the order. I thought ok that's better than nothing although the discount was not comparable to the cost of the previous order. I had ordered a 10 piece family dinner. and 2 2pc tender boxes for my daughter and myself to eat on the drive home. Should have left well enough alone! The tenders and fries in the 2pc boxes were fresh but when we got home. The entire 10 piece box was filled with old dried grayish looking chicken. My children wouldn't even touch it. A complete waste of a long drive there and back home. And a waste of money even with the discount. I called to tell them and I let them know I wanted nothing offered to compensate me just needed them to know how I was done. I truly believe they thought I was not owed any compensation for the previous mishap and I was simply trying to get free food. And therefore, they gave me 50% off and then gave me the oldest chicken on the rack. Chicken that definitely should have been tossed away. The Popeyes located on Route 59 in Naperville is absolutely horrible. The management is very unprofessional and the staff members are rude.

I visited the Naperville location today and ordered two meals. However, I was charged for three and one extra side that I did not order. While ordering my meal I asked for green beans for a side when Phillipe stated “You can see on the screen that we do not offer green beans” despite the fact there is a large sign that clearly states our signature sides are green beans, Mac and cheese and red beans and rice. Ignored his nasty comment and proceeded with my order.

After paying for my order, my husband called me to ask if I could pickup something for him so against my better judgement I got back in line. Which I’m glad I did, because I had opportunity review my receipt to see that Phillipe had charged me for a meal and side that I did not order. I told him what he did instead of him apologizing he asked his manger Raquel “didn’t she order this”. Instead her correcting his behavior and apologizing for the mixup she proceeded to tell me he charged me for what he heard. She told me she could not refund me, that she could only void the order and charge me for items I actually ordered.

She gave me back old food instead of fresh food. I called for the corporate number and district managers number and she stated there is no number and that she is store manger and that I can send email and then she hung up the phone. I never leave reviews, but I had to this time. I went here recently and ordered chicken and some sides. We were the ONLY customers in the store, and they still managed to get our order wrong. I ended up having to drive all the way back there just to get the sides that they forgot. Now I'm not one to judge people for not speaking english, as I have people in my family as well that struggle with that. However, when I walk up to the counter (literally 5 people there by the way), I explain that I was there earlier and my order had been missing fries. They all side eye me, not saying a single word, and I stand there in silence for 15 seconds. None of them even attempted to speak to me or try to figure out what I needed. People came from the back JUST to stare at me, and it was only when a girl came to the front (seemingly to clock out and leave), she noticed me and only then did someone actually ask me what I needed. It's just a bit ridiculous that there's a whole bunch of staff working there, and yet no one could understand me. Even when I got home, it wasn't worth it.
