I had the absolute pleasure of hiring SKC for our wedding, and I cannot express how delighted we were with their exceptional service and mouthwatering food. They truly made our special day even more memorable!

I have been ordering food from Sri Krishna for years. It used to be one of the best South Indian restaurants in Chicagoland. However, the last couple of times I noticed the quality has deteriorated. Sambar is too watery, and vegetables in Uthappam are big chunks as if someone didn't have time to cut them. Service was equally lacking. Doors were still closed at the opening time. A person rushed to open it and told us it would take 20 minutes and didn't take our order properly. We waited to find out there were orders already being served before they got to us. The point is that the restaurant should be ready for business opening time. While we were waiting, some guy came in for an order and walked right to the back in the food prep area (the reason this matters is because of what I found in my food - see pics). All said and done it was a little over an hour just to get our order. While waiting we witnessed an UberEats order wasn't ready because they never check to see incoming orders - the driver was annoyed and rightfully so. The BEST part, I found a rivet in the coconut chutney - most likely from the machine they use to make the chutney. I accidentally ate it and two of my teeth are hurting. This tells me the lack of management oversight over equipment maintenance and overall quality control. Sadly, I will have to now look for a more reliable, courteous, and safe South Indian restaurant...

We had the pleasure of working with Srikrishna Caterers for our Upanayanam event, and they truly exceeded our expectations in every way. We specifically requested South Indian Brahmin Iyengar-style vegetarian food, and they delivered on it beautifully.

The quality of the food was top-notch, and the taste was absolutely amazing—authentic, flavorful, and made with obvious care. The quantity was perfect for the number of guests we had reserved for, and we also deeply appreciated the thoughtful complementary items that were included.

A special mention goes to the kids, who are usually the toughest critics with their selective taste buds—they loved the food too, which says a lot about how well it was prepared!

We also ordered the seer bakshanam through them, and it was fresh, delicious, and beautifully done.
