The place looks nice. Went downhill from the start. The hostess set us at a booth instead of the table we requested and had to re request the table. We had to ask the waiter for a second set of silverware and coffee cup. We ordered our food the waiter forgot to ask what my eggs are like and then had to come back and ask again. When we got our food they forgot my eggs and all the sides were lukewarm to cold. When I let them know about the eggs all the waiter said is that all we can redo it again after we were already eating our food. Then supposedly a manager came over and asked again if we wanted it redone by that time we were well over halfway done and declined. When we finished it took him about 20 minutes to finally bring the check and then they didn't even bother to comp us anything for the inconvenience. And all the food had no spice to it whatsoever it's like they just took a recipe out of a Betty crocker cookbook and took out all the spices. And the waiter didn't even know his dishes to know whether they came with sides. Probably not going to be back. ** Decided to give this place a second chance and it wasn't a good decision. The food was brought out separately the veggie burger was brought out first with everything on it even though we ordered everything on the side. The person who brought it out said there was only one item on the ticket even though there were two people at the table. The waitress took it back and all they did was scrape the stuff off and put it on a side plate. You could still see pieces of lettuce and tomato on the burger. Then we had to wait for the steak sandwich because it was ordered without onions and peppers which they put on it. So it was supposed to be a garlic marinated ribeye steak sandwich with a Cajun mayo. If that was garlic marinated steak they don't know garlic from a hill of beans. The little bit of mayo they had put on looked like red food coloring and black pepper was their Cajun seasoning. What a waste of 45 hard earned dollars. And not even a how was everything from the red headed nose pierced so called hostess that were too busy being confused about their own menu to actually greet people properly. This place is lacking in hospitality and the waitress in knowledge of the menu. What she said was conflicting with what the manager said. Went in there wanting crepes and asked if there is any option that would go a long with a crepe, or if I can switch out a pancake for a crepe on any menu item even if an upcharge was due I wouldn’t have a problem with it. She said there is nothing, I said nothing? Nothing at all she repeats. So after I paid I was curious and asked the manager ,sure enough with an up charge I could have had the crepe be a side.

Another thing is the sausage I had tasted was extremely strange, (my friend who ate it also thought the same thing) I asked if I can change it and she said she can’t do that she can only charge me an additional side. Never for circumstance of the food being questionable in taste had I had to pay extra for a substitute for it. I didn’t want to add $5 more to what I already paid so I said no and just didn’t eat the sausage in case it was a bad batch.

So returning to me telling the manager this, she just agreed that there wasn’t good communication between them and offered a crepe to go but to be honest the whole experience was just aweful and I had already eaten some of the food. I won’t be coming back for sure and I feel it was a complete waste of money.

As a bonus; 20% tip was automatically added because it was 5 of us which we were not told beforehand.

So in summary

They did not want to replace bad tasting sausage and wanted to charge $5 extra.

The waitress was not knowledgeable about options that in her own restaurant were doable so I ordered something that was out of my preference when what I wanted was actually available.

Absolutely terrible service from the manger. Our server was great, restaurant was clean, we are from out of town and wanted to try a cool new spot for breakfast, my husband loves breakfast food, I not so much so I sprung for one of their lunch items, worst decision ever. Absolutely awful food, zero flavor, soup was thick and chunky when it’s was a “cream chicken” I got the catfish for my entree and zero flavor other than a watery fish taste, I’ve had catfish and never had this terrible flavor, I told my server and he took my dish back so the manger could inspect it. Apparently she deemed it “good” my server told me the manger tasted my plate personally and she said it was great, then proceeded to ask me if I wanted the dish to go, after he just told me they literally ate from the plate. I declined and said I’ll keep the side of fries. We get the bill and the catfish is still on there, so we go talk to the manager to say we don’t mind paying for the fries but the catfish was to me unedible, the Manager refused to take it off our bill and tried to tell me that catfish is a “muddy water fish” so it will have that taste. I was in shock that instead of taking off a dish that a customer clearly does not like and will not eat then tell them you ate off the dish and ask if I want to take it to go. I am baffled by this management and I will NEVER be back. Please be weary when dining in this establishment, no matter how the dish comes out the management will eat your food and tell you it tastes just fine so you will pay full price....
