If they are at fault, you the customer will be strongly scolded!
(Sneezing sick employees who are leaving early allowed to violently sneeze on the food pick-up counter was an added bonus.)
Friday night carry-out order at 6:30 pm. Total price $91.00 for three pizzas, you read that correctly, $91.00 for three pizzas. One ordered with extra mushrooms since their website states: "ROSATI'S VEGETABLES: Our vegetables are delivered fresh daily....", apparently not to Naples.
Drove it home, no mushrooms at all. Amanda who identified herself as the front manager took our call and said, "Oh we ran out of mushrooms and tried to call people who had ordered them". Our reply, "We left our phone number with our order and you did not call us but still charged us $4.00 for the mushrooms when we picked up the pizza". Amanda, "Would you like a refund for the mushrooms?"
Our next question to Amanda, "with a Publix grocery store 300 feet away, how do you run out of mushrooms, Publix's sells mushrooms?" Amanda's reply, "I do not control that, that is the back of the house manager"
Transferred to the back of the house & the restaurant's general manager Tom. Tom answers the phone with an angered tone, "what is wrong?" We asked about the missing mushrooms which we were charged for, Tom barks out "we ran out!" On a Friday at 6:30 pm going into a Winter Tourist Season Weekend, we ask, "You ran out of mushrooms?" Tom, "yes, do you want your money back?" We then asked the same question we asked Amanda, "with a Publix grocery store 300 feet away, how do you run out of mushrooms, Publix's sell mushrooms?" Tom bunt reply, "we were slammed, we could not go over and buy mushrooms!".
We then began to ask, "the other two pizzas which we ordered were ordered with extra cheese and extra green peppers but only one of the two had extra cheese and neither had extra green peppers, in fact barely had any green peppers and we were charged $18.00 for the missing ingredients" then Tom interrupted, "I cut the pizzas, there were green peppers so where is this going, what do you want?"
We replied, we would like some honesty. Tom, "are you calling me a lier?" Our reply, "Our order was order number 66 and they had been open since lunch began at 11:00 AM. As we were there to pick-up the three $91.00 pizzas there were four tables sat. You were not slammed!"
(Truthfully if they only have 66 orders by 6:30 PM on a Friday night during one of the busiest tourist weekends in Naples, they are in serious trouble of remaining in business")
Tom reply, "I do not need this" Which we replied, "we are from the Chicago Illinois area. One of us sold the Rosati family dozens upon dozens of pizza equipment in the late 90's and early 2000's. We know Rosati family's reputation and his attitude was not consistent with the dedicated hard work that the Rosati family had done for years." Tom wanted no further with the conversation and we informed him that we would leave this review as a response to his ignorance and disrespect of customers who paid $91.00 for three pizzas and had not only not received what they had paid for, but the staff knew they did not have the ingredients they were selling the customer and the customer was scolded...

My recent interaction with Rosati’s left much to be desired. After mistakenly placing an order and promptly canceling it within 10 minutes, I was met with unexpected hostility from a staff member over the phone. Despite being assured that canceling the order was "no problem," I later received a call from a particularly rude woman demanding payment for the canceled order.
I explained the situation and politely declined to pay, as I had already obtained food from another establishment and had canceled the order as a courtesy. The insistence on payment, coupled with the disrespectful tone of the staff member, was both unprofessional and off-putting.
After the third call from her ..She then spoke to my husband and he asked her nicely what kind of business she was running to expect payment for a canceled order.
It is concerning that a business would resort to such aggressive tactics to recoup costs for orders not picked up, especially when customers have acted in good faith by canceling in a timely manner. The lack of customer service and understanding displayed during this interaction reflects poorly on the overall experience at rosatis.
After reading similar reviews detailing tasteless food and poor customer service, I am relieved that I did not proceed with picking up my order. I hope that the management at Rosita’s takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issues with their customer service practices. I pray this woman isn’t the owner but if she is the reviews speak for themselves
Please fire...
Read moreI'm really annoyed. From Chicago, we look forward to Rosati's. Placed my order online.. says 30 mins. Arrived 30 mins waited another 10-15 in the front of store.. finally they give me the order sealed up.. looking forward to some hot goodness that supposed to taste like home. Pretty sure the cook doesn't read English. Green pepper instead of sweet peppers on an Italian beef is a joke.. u oughta be slapped for that. Then to release a pizza without the dough cooked on the bottom.. deep dish of all... Shame and a giant disgusting non formed mess. Royally messed up this order. Got home open it, called back they were closed. Pretty sure the cooked pushed uncooked crap out of the kitchen so him and the girl could close up and leave quick. However I placed my order about an 1hr before it was ready so that's pretty pathetic. $46 of bad food and I tipped them on online check out. (Why tips should be prompted after pick up). To the owner/manager- feel free to respond for a refund. I called the following day twice phone kept ringing.. no one picked up rang over and over. See appalling photos.. if u want to reimburse me I will remove the photos and the review otherwise.. go to a different Rosati's because if u can't do the 2 main dishes right it's a straight up fail! And when ppl want Rosati's here it's cuz they miss home they want the real thing not bs Florida lazy we want...
