I go to the Starbucks on Old Trail a couple of times a week. I love the people & the service there. However, they have a new girl, Elizabeth, workin there now. Twice I’ve had an issue with her. First time she did want to take the cash I handed her to pay for my drink. She said I must pay with a credit card. This is not a rule at this location. They’ve always taken casbah. Today, I asked for my usual chai tea. She said they were out, so I pointed at the teas behind her & asked what teas do you have. They were too far away for me to see. She answer back with, what tea do you want. I asked her to please name them so I could choose. She the. Said we don’t have chai tea. I told her I understand that; im asking what other teas they have. Again she asked me what do I want. I told her to forget it & that she needs to answer a customer’s question. I then had some customer follow me out of the store & told me to watch my mouth. I did nothing wrong. I’ll did was ask for what type of teas they had & she refused to tell, I told the customer that followed me out & yelling at me that this non of this was his business. He threatened me & said he took down my license plate number. I felt threatened by this man. All because, I wanted to order a tea & Elizabeth would say what teas...
Read moreI’m out of town visiting family and frequented this Starbucks December 26th-27th. Both times I went in the morning around 8-9am. I was disgusted and appalled by the way the shift lead or manager was speaking to the other baristas. Good drive through times mean nothing if you need to achieve them by berating the barista on window or bar. She was speaking to them as if they were annoying children, not team members. At one point after snapping and embarrassing an employee in front of me, she turned and tried to have a cheery conversation. I don’t care how you treat me as a customer, I have the option of never seeing you again. I care about how you treat your fellow coworkers who work under you. Other than that, the person taking orders in the drive through was so...
Read moreHonestly, this is a poorly managed Starbucks location. We've been going there regularly for the last 3 years -- we were spending $700 a year there -- and it has now declined to a point where we won't go back. At this location (you may only experience this if you go inside), you can expect the staff to be aloof, the restaurant tables to be dirty (you have to ask them to clean a table for you) and the drinks to be made wrong on a regular basis. And don't question them; they often make up excuses or passive-aggressively argue with you. Plenty of other Starbucks are better than this one. The Marco Island location is actually one of the best with a consistently...
