Bourbon Street Pizza (Nappanee) — Restaurant in Nappanee

So I have a rather detailed review of this place seeing as how I've ordered from here multiple times. I mainly use their delivery service for convenience. The short answer is this; Nappanee Pizza Company is a decent choice if you're looking for pizza delivery, just order awhile before you actually want the pizza.

Here's the long answer: if you want pizza and you're not willing to pick it up yourself, Nappanee Pizza co is a decent choice for convenience, but not a very timely one. There have been numerous occasions where I've placed an order and am given a time frame, but they fail to meet that time frame. They could miss it by a few minutes, which fine and understandable. Or they can miss it by a whole hour. I'd say, around 60% of the time they are late.

Now, I can understand an influx of orders before and after mine can cause some delays. That's okay. What's not okay is giving me a time frame and not giving me a call saying you're gonna be late due to some unforeseen circumstances. At the very least, I'm asking for the courtesy to call me to inform me you're going to be late. Not for a free pizza, not for extra items at not charge, just a courtesy call.

When it comes to the food, it's alright. The pizza actually tasted fairly sweet, as in they used a bit too much olive oil in the sauce. The wings, I would not recommend. The best term to describe them is "soggy". However, the bread sticks are very good. Not on par with Mancinos bread sticks, but still pretty good.

I usually don't have too many issues with Bourbon Street. However, this time I ordered one large pizza and a small order of cheese bread. They said 20 minutes. I got there right on time and without being told any details I was made to wait for 15 minutes for my order. Turns out they had forgotten the cheese bread and had to make it after I got there. Had I known that they had to make the cheese bread from scratch while my pizza got cold I would have just taken a refund and walked away with my pizza. Most of the employees looked about 12 and the manager might have been pushing 15. Totally unprofessional. Good thing there are other choices for pizza...

Have used them many times for my business meetings. Will not again. First, when I walk in, have the delivery boy saying never trust any salesman on and on and on. May want to watch the company in the establishment because I am a salesman bringing YOU business. Then as I'm reviewing my order, I'm told 3 times to swipe my card and I have to finally say "Give me a minute!" So I can verify my over $200 order.
