California Burritos — Restaurant in Nashua

My girlfriend and I wanted to get pupusas to go. We walked into CA Burritos, thinking we'd be in and out since the waiting line was not bad at all. We'd been there before, and we knew the wait wasn't going to be bad. We were so wrong. We were behind 4 people only, but ended up waiting over 45 minutes just to get to put in our order. Not only that, but when we DID get to the counter to place our order, the woman for some reason, didn't understand either English or Spanish. I found that very curious since she had spent a while flirting with a male customer in Spanish. Another woman had to come over to write down our order of pupusas to give it to the lady that makes them. We also ordered a small guacamole with chips to eat while we waited for our order. While we sat at a table, we witnessed order after order of bags and bags of food being put together for 3 other customers that came in just after us. We figured they had ordered head. So we tolerated that. Finally after One hour and a half after we placed our order, we were called over to get our bag. We then left and our plan had been to go sit somewhere and eat before running some errands. Upon opening the bag, we found that our pupusas were not in carry out containers. They had been wrapped in foil and they were leaking juices all over. We had ordered them "to go" but somehow that was not understood by the staff. We ended up not eating our meal then. We went on to finish our errands and after that we went home to eat reheated pupusas. I understand having employees that speak Spanish is part of the experience at a Hispanic restaurant. But when they don't understand English or Spanish is extremely frustrating. On top of that, getting the order not to our needs was even more enfuriating. The staff was very disorganized and too involved with their personal interactions with the male customer. They kept getting in eachother's way while trying to get orders completed. We will not be visiting again...

I ordered lunch online and let the staff know when I arrived that I’m currently on crutches, so I asked if someone could bring my food to the table once it was ready since I physically can’t carry items while walking. They agreed, so I sat down.

Even though I only ordered three tacos, it took 40 minutes before I got a notification saying my order was “ready.” No one brought it over, so after waiting another 5 minutes, I went up to the counter — only to learn my food still wasn’t actually finished. I waited another 10 minutes, and when it was finally done, they just handed me a bag, which is still difficult to carry while on crutches. No tray, no assistance, even after I clearly requested help.

To add to the issue, the entrance does not have an ADA accessibility button, so getting in the door on crutches was already a struggle before the service even began.

If a restaurant says it can accommodate accessibility needs, it should actually do so. This experience was frustrating and showed a lack of awareness about customers with mobility challenges. I genuinely hope management addresses both the accessibility and customer...

this location is the best!! ever since they closed i had been WAITING for cellu drive to open again because factory street is the worst. like seriously i was checking their facebook for months, everytime I would get oak craft I would peek inside and see if construction was almost done.

i almost always do mobile orders and the one on factory st never makes the mobile orders ahead of time, its tiny so to get the mobile order you have to cut the line, they never give me the queso & extra hot salsa that i pay for or would argue with me over it even if i showed them the receipt, would make my order wrong or forget items etc. the one on cellu drive i have gone 2x since they opened and no issues!! they always have mobile orders ready, easy to grab them, my order is never wrong, they always give me the side sauces i ask for and the cups they give you for the salsa & queso are bigger than the other locations (which they should be since its $1 just for queso!) staff here is way nicer and efficient as well i will never go back to factory st again and i am so so so happy this one...
