UPDATE: I really gave this restaurant a solid chance but every single time I order from here it takes over an hour, unless it’s 11am on. Saturday morning, then your 30 min window is accurate!!! The staff aren’t friendly at the pick up window. Sometimes they’re down right nasty. I live in Nashua but I will drive to the Manchester location from now on because that Texas Roadhouse is AMAZING!!!! The staff are ALWAYS friendly and when they say your order will be ready in 30 moms, they have your order ready in 25. That’s customer service!! I ordered here for the first time today. And I have to say I wasn’t impressed with the 4 staff members who were sitting at the to go window. I ordered my food at 2:12pm and it said it would be ready at 2:32pm. At first I thought it said 2:42pm so I got there at 2:35-2:40pm. The 4 youngsters told me o still had 20 mins and I’m like what? Then she said ya 2:52 it will be ready. I went up to the window 3 times during my hefty wait. Now, I understand they’re busy. I get it. But do you think one of them got up to go and maybe find out what was going on? Nope they sat there not moving an inch and said well I can send you a text. Hmmmm. So 3pm rolls around and I’m still waiting so I call the restaurant manager Jared who handled it very very well. And he is probably the only reason I might come back to this location. He was very nice and understanding and when I explained what was going on, he got right in there and wanted to know what’s happening. So I walk up to the window again, and it’s open at this point, Jared is speaking to the 4 who still haven’t moved am inch and she says, “what did she call?” And obviously she didn’t know I was behind her and I answered her yes actually I did. I’ve been waiting a very long time and at this point it’s been almost an hour since I put my order in. Again, Jared handled that situation with such grace and I have to say he is doing a great job and I appreciated his prompt attention. Now if the 4 youngsters who were sitting around in that small room can learn anything from Jared it would be this: next time maybe one of them could get off their butts and say hey she has been here a long time. Let me go see what’s going on in the kitchen, maybe give them a hand because they were probably just busy. I really hope that this doesn’t happen to another person in the future. Because one experience can determine one’s opinion of a reputable restaurant and word of mouth will reflect that experience. So I really hope they learned something from this because I’d hate for someone else to have a similar...
Read moreI want to start off by saying that this was the absolute worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I had worked in restaurants, as a server and bartender, for about ten years so I know what it’s like. In this industry, there are zero excuses for how we were treated this evening. I would highly advise you do not go here as you will be very disappointed.
There was a long wait, and we were patient, but after an hour (15 minutes past our wait time) we were finally seated. Libby was our waitress - she was incredibly rude, very short with her responses, and knew nothing about the menu. I asked if they could make a margarita instead of the premixed towers because I wanted silver tequila. She told me they couldn’t do it. I ended up trying one from the tower and it literally tasted like jungle juice. I asked again if they could just make a basic margarita and she insisted they couldn’t. From that point on, she basically ignored our table until our food came out. Our kids had empty cups and our table was full of empty dishes. So, before we got our food, we had to ask another waitress for refills for the kids and I ended up going to the bar for my drink… sure enough the bartender made me a margarita. She was amazing, but in the end I was baffled.
It took well over an hour to get our food, and with kids it was a very difficult wait. When our food finally came it was awful. My daughter’s fish and chips was dry as a bone and tasted awful. My son’s hotdog was undercooked. Their fries were either burnt or soaked in grease. My country fried chicken was overcooked and it took an extra 5 minutes to get one of my sides (came late). My husband’s country fried steak was like leather, it was way overcooked, and was missing a side. We sent the steak back, because it wasn’t edible, and the waitress was visibly annoyed. The manager came over and he had nothing but excuses. He even tried to give us a coupon for next time which we declined because we will NEVER be going back there.
We had to cancel our daughter’s birthday surprise because we had to get out of there. We were all miserable by the end of it. She didn’t know they were going to sing, but it hurt our hearts that her birthday dinner was ruined.
To top it off, the restaurant was incredibly dirty (crud all over the floors, sticky booths/menus, disgusting bathrooms, etc.). If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We wasted 2.5 hours for crappy food, horrible service, and a dirty atmosphere. I expected better. Spend your...

This is by FAR the worst restaurant trip we’ve ever had. Just took our kids here tonight for our daughter’s birthday dinner.
First the waitress cops a ‘tude when we ask if they can make a margarita with silver tequila. She replies that they’re all premade and there’s nothing they can change about that. So my partner settles for a strawberry margarita on the rocks, that was dismal.
We waited almost a full 60 minutes for our entrees to come out. During the wait I had to find other waitstaff to order more drinks (because our waitress was nowhere to be found). Every cup on our table was bone dry. Finally found other waitstaff to help and they didn’t know what beers they did or didn’t have on draft. I walked to the bar to see the tap selection and came back to order but the waitstaff was gone. My partner ended up just walking to the bar to get her drink because our waitress wasn’t sure if they could make a regular margarita with silver tequila and wasn’t anywhere to be seen. The bar was great. Turns out they can make a regular margarita with silver tequila!
Well - all’s good and well until the food comes out. Most of it at least. We’re still waiting on a baked potato and some fries, for some reason. Fish and chips was overcooked, dry and rancid. The country fried chicken like a spicy, soggy Tyson chicken patty covered in gravy. The country fried steak though - I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog. Like the sole off of a boot that tastes like Salisbury steak from elementary school…covered in a coagulated cream gravy and overcooked mushrooms. The manager’s response? “Oh yeah that isn’t one that I’d recommend usually.” Seriously??
The baked potato was pretty good but at that point any desire to eat food had left our table.
What a disgrace. They comped us two meals (thank you at least), we canceled the “surprise bday celebration dessert” and got the heck out of dodge. 2.5 hours at a restaurant tonight and the best thing there WAS THE BUTTER!
We will absolutely never return to this restaurant and I wouldn’t recommend you do either unless you enjoy a dirty restaurant paired with rude inexperienced staff and a 16 hour wait to see if you’ll get food poisoning.
The beer was...
