Last nite our waitress was awful. We arrived at 6:30 pm and stood in the entryway waiting to be acknowledged. Someone yells from I believe a kitchen opening that she will be right with us. That started the experience. We were finally seated after a couple more minutes. We got our water filled. She was the most attentive of everyone. We were brought bread sat there 5 min till someone finally came to take our drink order which were soda's that took another 5 minutes. She came back and asked if we were ready to order. My friend had a few questions and it was very difficult to communicate with her. No eye contact. I felt like, "JUST GIVE ME YOUR ORDER." We gave our order, two other tables got there after us and got their food quickly and left and we are still waiting for our food. The waitress came to us 3 times and said it would be RIGHT out. That was the joke, for that never happened.
FINALLY at 730pm our food , well my friend got his and I am still waiting while he sits and waits for my food to come. Finally 3 more mins my food was here.
This was our second time here. The first time, from start to finish, everything was fabulous. I hoped last night would be the same.
Training is key, and all we heard was busy in the back room. We could see the kitchen and staff. Why were they facetiming 3 times that we saw? A waitress should of known the 2 specials not hard to remember and not cool, just looking down and reading from a piece of paper. You acknowledge your patrons, and that is how you get good tips. Her tip reflected how we felt.
We will be back for the food it is amazing. Never want that...
Read moreI absolutely love this restaurant. I found it while browsing "the best Italian food in Nashua". I am new to the area and was looking for soup on this particular day. I browsed their menu and came upon, Pasta E Fagoli. I ordered 2 bowls with extra bread for delivery. Delivery was fast, the soup was extremely hot and wrapped in plastic wrap very tightly, it came in a large, plastic tupperware style bowl and the bread was nicely wrapped in a paper bag. I dug into the soup and it was delicious!! Lots of noodles, beans, tomato, spinach, broth, just perfect! I was in my glory!! Best I have ever had. (I order it so often now, they must have to make double batches just to keep up with my weekly ordering, ha!)
I have also had their chicken parmesan, I must rave about! A huge breaded chicken cutlet on top of a bed of (my choice, spaghetti noodles) with plenty of marinara sauce and cheese and it was out of this world, delicious! Again, Best I have had.
We have also had shrimp scampi, stuffed mushrooms, three cheese ravioli, it all was fanstantic!!
If you are looking for authentic Italian dishes that look and taste great, this is your place. I'm telling you,...
Read moreWe have dined there about 6 times. Only twice, was I disappointed. Time before last, I ordered gnocchi alfredo as a side to veal francaise. The veal was wonderful, but gnocchi was served in a clump that you could stab with a fork and pick it all up together. Most recently, I was very disappointed in the steak gorgonzola. I had previously had it there, and the steak was cut into strips, as it should be, to pair with all of the other bite sized ingredients. This time, the steak was one piece, EXTREMELY grizzly and tough, with zero flavor...a really poor piece of sirloin. The sauce had no flavor and was very watery. The few shrimps in it were well prepared, though. The pasta was way over cooked and mushy. It was pretty awful. It is a 29 dollar entree, so it should maintain a standard. It was a Monday (they are newly opened on mondays), and not super crowded. The service was very slow. We waited over 35 minutes to have our order taken. Maybe it was a new chef, but I cant explain the snail service. I think we'll take a break from the place for a while. I meant to give it 3...
