The Google reviews were great so we were really excited to try, but sadly this was the worst sushi and meal in general I have ever had to pay for, hands down. Wish we had checked Yelp before eating. They were nice, but that is it. The menu had a ton of rolls with imitation crab or were fried with mayo on top, nothing special and most were quite uninspired and just strange. Couldn't find a standard roll, so tried to order closest to our taste. Now I know when I see a menu like that to just run.
Asked for no crab in one roll, the waitress proudly brought out the roll without avocado, rather than omitting crab. But she did not understand English enough to fix this. Fine, but onto the rest. They all tasted fishy, like fish that had been brought to temperature incorrectly or had been stored too long. Just....bad. One roll taste kind of chemically, never tasted anything so awful, and I had nowhere to spit it out unfortunately. I tried a couple more, but still had that bad taste in my mouth! Even after a little ginger. The eel roll was....passable? But not tasty.
They were nice, but that is the good part. The meal was way too overpriced for the quality and the quality really makes me wonder about their food safety practices. Everything tastes like it was either going bad or already bad. Don't bother. Praying we...
Read moreIt’s been about 10 years since I’ve been to this restaurant, and my return back did not disappoint! We went at an off time so we were able to get a table quickly and have pretty speedy service. Parking is super easy since they have a shared lot right out front. I’ve never had any trouble parking there, but it’s probably possible during especially busy times. My boyfriend and I decided to order us a lot of things including Thai Tea, Crab Rangoon, Shrimp Fried Rice, Chicken Pad Kee Mao, and the VIP roll. The Thai Tea was sweet and refreshing. The crab rangoons were very yummy, though not my favorite in Nashville - I am still trying to find that. I loved the Shrimp Fried Rice and the VIP roll. The Chicken Pad Kee Mao was our least favorite of the choices we got, but still a great pick. The only downside is that it is a little bit on the expensive side compared to some other sushi places that are not too faraway. I’ll definitely make sure not to take 10...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this place by chance and decided to order takeout -- and we're so glad we did! From that very first experience, we were impressed not only by the flavorful food but also by the warm hospitality of the owners. They were incredibly helpful and kind, even with just a takeout order, which left a lasting impression.
The service was quick, but the quality of the food certainly didn't suffer. Everything we tried was packed with flavor and clearly made with care. The chicken pad Thai and vegetable green curry quickly became our favorites -- both dishes had depth of flavors and were absolutely delicious.
The food alone is enough to bring anyone back, but the inviting atmosphere and genuine hospitality really elevate the experience. We can't wait to dine...
