Best Gyros — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Our go to Gyro spot in Nashville. This one is good. We never tried the others in the area because this one satisfied the first time. We ate here many times. There is nothing fancy about dining here, its just a basic little walk in with 5 or 6 booths to eat in and thats it. A small tv to watch while you eat. But everyone is very friendly. They are quick. Food is always very good. Huge Gyro is nicely packed with meat, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber sauce etc. (All of these you can choose). We always had it with a huge order of thin regular fries or thick seasoned fries and both of the fries are great. Priced great (about 20.00 for 3 gyros, fries, and 3 drinks). I always shared w my younger one, it's so big and so much. Located right off the road in a very small shopping complex. It's always busy in the lot and parking is minimal for direct access to park in front of the store, but you can find parking just a few feet...

The food at Best Gyros on Nolensville Pike is the absolute best. The gyro sandwiches and plates are always fresh, hot, and delicious. They have quite a few other items on the menu like catfish and philly steaks, also delicious. The establishment is kept clean and their posted Health Department score is always 100 – and that's quite impressive for a gyros restaurant! The owner and staff are very friendly and happy to see customers. They also catered for a large event we held at Vanderbilt without a problem and for a great price. Plus, they have their entire menu and pictures on their website, so I knew exactly what to get. If you're looking for great international food, this is the place. Best gyros lives up...

The food is good and the service is also. This is a dive joint and it's proud to be such. I had the gyro plate as I have many times before. They have now gone to cutting the meat in advance and storing it in warmers and now they don't even throw it on the grill when you order it. Now that's the part that I can't stand. I would prefer that it's cut and grilled to order. It taste way better in my humble opinion. That is what I will ask for the next time. I say all of this to say go there because I recommend...
