Waffle House — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Waffle House is one of my favorite places to eat in the South. I'm from Philadelphia and before I moved to Nashville Tennessee I had never even heard of Waffle Houses before. Where I'm from the only places open 24 hours a day 7 days a week are delis, usually Jewish or Italian delis. And I always appreciated that if I was out late and maybe even a little buzzed, I could go to one of those diners, drink some coffee and water, eat something delicious and then go home safe. Now that I am in the South, where there aren't that many Jews, LOL, Waffle House is the one place I know that I can always count on to be open in the middle of the night when all I want to do is sit down and drink some coffee and eat some yummy food. Though I know it's a greasy spoon and most things on the menu are not healthy, it's still, to me, a very warm place. Also, I've never been to a waffle house where when I walked in I wasn't greeted by at least one to three people. It's always a good vibe in there, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves breakfast food, burgers, and especially waffles and hash browns! Don't get me started on their hash browns! I love that you can put so many things on them from cheese to onions to ham to white gravy and so many others. I love Waffle House and everyone should eat there every night or every morning before work. Five stars! And...

One word—-INCREDIBLE!! I was a skeptic walking into this tiny restaurant, although my husband has raved about this place for many years! All I can say is don’t let the lack of aesthetic appeal fool you…their breakfast is superb and the customer service is second to NONE! We each had the all star breakfast and opted for the plain waffle, hash browns with sautéed onions, sausage, scrambled eggs, and toast. Hands down, the best waffles I’ve EVER had. And I’m comparing that to Roscoes Chicken & Waffles in Hollywood and many others… the hash browns were the best I’ve ever had. INCREDIBLY seasoned and good to the last bite. I never leave reviews but I had to!! I asked for a T-bone cooked MEDIUM. A medium steak has a Lil bit of a pink inside. They bought me a Well- done steak. I told the waitress ASHLEY politely that my steak was well done she proceeded to catch an attitude and told the chef that a medium steak doesn't have a pink center it's brown and to cook it rare. I told her that was not correct and to Google it if she needed assistance. She made very smart remarks which were inappropriate and SUPER unprofessional. She was rude and her lack of knowledge made her super ignorant and her attitude was just GHETTO!!!And then they bought me a medium rare steak.
