Chicago Gyros Plus — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

This was our first time eating here. I came in to order for me and my husband. I ordered the loaded gyro fries and a gyro plate for my husband. I ordered the Philly steak sandwich combo for myself. I also ordered 2 mango teas. We were given 2 free desserts by one of the men working there since this was our first time there and he wanted us to try them. I eat here all the time — and it never misses. The gyro plate is my absolute favorite. Perfectly cooked meat, fluffy rice, fresh toppings, and those sauces bring it all together. It’s seriously the best gyro plate I’ve had anywhere — and I’ve tried plenty.

Mikia, the man behind the counter, is a gem. Friendly, professional, and always serving with a smile. You can tell he cares deeply about the food and the people. He makes every visit feel like you’re being welcomed into his kitchen.

We tried this place last night, and I knew I had to give a shout out for such a wonderful, family-run restaurant. We’ve had a bit of hard time finding consistent, truly good food within a 15-20 minute radius of where we live. (We are from the Chicago area originally, and it seems like every place up there really has it together!) We had the gyro plate and chicken plate, and we both knew right away that this will become a new go-to take-out place for us when we don’t have time to cook!
