I absolutely do NOT recommend this store. I was just called by the owner (Matt) and practically YELLED at for asking for a discount on a late product. When I had already been called two minutes beforehand by his co-worker and told her it wasn't an issue when I learned it wasn't even their fault. It was the manufacturer's fault and the second I learned that, I said, "Oh! Then forget I said anything about the discount, don't worry, it's not even your fault! It comes when it comes!" But apparently, that did NOT go over well with Matt. He had to personally call me to rip me a new one, guilt tripping me into feeling AWFUL for asking for a discount, and didn't even let me explain that number one, when I learned it wasn't their fault, I said it wasn't an issue. Number two, I already TOLD his co-worker it wasn't an issue, there was no need for this call. Number three, for the last month, I've been dealing with another company sending my husband and I late, broken and just plain WRONG products over and over and unfortunately, I've just been used to asking THAT company for what they could do for messing up over and over. It just kind of came out when speaking to Matt's co-worker and I did apologize (profusely, mind you) to Matt (the two times he actually came up for fair in the middle of tearing me apart) but apologizing did NOTHING. We had hung up amicably, but it made me feel so terribly inside that I had upset him so much and I couldn't get over it, so I called back and said, "Matt, it's Alyssa Jacey calling. I just wanted to apologize again, I am really sorry I rubbed you the wrong way but honestly? I'm shaking right now. I've never had a company call me back just to snap at me and talk to me the way you did..." and before I could finish my sentence, he interrupted me, STARTED YELLING AT ME, and said, "YOU'RE THE ONE WHO CAME IN HERE ASKING FOR..." and started giving me a play by play. I interrupted him and said, "Matt, I don't need you to tell me what happened, I just..." I just wanted to cancel my order but he kept yelling at me. I finally said, "MATT! I would like to please cancel my order. I can pick up my artwork and we can just cut our losses." And instead of being even remotely professional, he snapped, "GREAT! BYE!" and HUNG UP ON ME. I couldn't believe how awful I was just treated. So now he's not only yelling at customers but hanging up on them? Real pro there.
I went to leave this review on their page...but they had already blocked me. In fact, they turned off commenting altogether because I had a few friends around me who actually heard the conversation and their jaws were on the ground. None of us can understand how on earth someone could treat a customer that way. And to take it to the next level of raising his voice, not letting me speak, guilt-tripping me and HANGING UP ON ME? Excellent service from start to finish. I didn’t even know where to start when taking in a picture to get framed for my wife. We talked about where this was going in the house, what style we decorated in and everything was even helpful when I brought a few pictures of our home. When went through tons of options and in the end I could not have been happier. It turned out just perfect and my wife loves it! My friend very kindly asked for a discount for a late product, and then immediately backed off when she was told it wasn’t the fault of Picture This. No problem. Two minutes later, the owner, Matt, called and actually yelled at my friend for “daring to ask for a discount.” My friend was nothing but nice and patient while he ranted for several minutes.
