Steve Libby, lead singer. my view only. I've been here a few times. My band has played there. Last night there was a show with the band Anvil. I bought tickets and took my son. He is 15. when I get there, they tell me its 18 and up. fair enough. my mistake. but the disrespect i got from the door person, was unacceptable. He laughed at me for not knowing it was 18 and up. no, "hey sorry about that I wish I could let him in, but they installed an 18+ for this show." nope. what I got was a chuckle. Maybe it was a nervous chuckle because of my size. Whatever. He was a douche. I left but then realized I paid $44 for parking (the 2 tickets for the show were 17.50 each] so, I went back in to get my ticket validated. I said, "well if I can't see the show, then I am going to get my money back for parking." he said "Did you pay?" I confirmed I did. He laughed and said, "if you paid first then I can't." I asked him to explain, and he laughed again like I am an idiot. "you paid first so i can't" and laughed again. I said something disparaging as i left because I knew i had to walk away. what a crappy way to treat someone. The Cobra has to know this guy is a bad representative of their business, right? but from what I've heard and seen myself, they don't care. they don't...

I mean... the drinks are cheap. Love that. Very dive-y. The crowd changes a lot but it's mostly white punk and goths. There's a large back patio area which I love. Partly covered and partly uncovered. There's a spare room where they do shows. There's a pool table, darts, and other stuff. It's actually pretty large when I think about it... The bartenders are chill and nice. The girl bartenders are nice. The guy bartenders are slow, in my experience. There's a pretty girl with long, straight brunette hair. She's the best. It's really lame that it closes at 2am. But other than that it's fine. It could use more live music, for sure. You never know when it's going to be popular. Some nights it's dead. The music is... characteristic of the spot. It ranges from terrible to decent, I'd say. The people are very alternative. It's all white people and the black guys who date white girls. Not my favorite, but when you're in Nashville there aren't many options for...

Wanted to share. I was recently at this bar and one of the older male bartenders shoved me hard from my back for standing against the bar. Enough to jerk my neck and spill my drink. I was near the water area facing my group when I was shoved forward followed by no eye contact yelling. Maybe I was in the wrong to him, however it was uncalled for to push me from behind that hard. Everyone leans against the bar... I passed the bartender on the way out and calmly told him that he didn't have to push me and that a tap on the shoulder would of been fine. I was told very unprofessionally that I need to "not take it serious" after he put his hands on me for no reason. He was an older, husky guy, with long hair in a bun and a beard, I would not interact with him as he was aggressive in a bar setting. This could of been an escalated situation on the wrong customer. Still a fun place, I was put off by...
