I visited this place during their first week of opening and I was pleasantly surprised by the vibe of the place overall although there weren’t many people there. I’ve been there a few times the following couple of months and they’ve still managed to be hidden (which honestly I prefer, less crowded and relaxed vibe) I loved that they have a pool table there and some seasonal cocktails along with the regular menu. Another benefit of having this bar in East Nash is that there’s parking, and if you don’t find parking up front, there’s additional parking at the back. Service/staff is friendly and will always recommend cocktails. They’ll also sometimes whip up cool mixes if you ask to be surprised. It’s priced slightly higher for this area but the pool table makes it worth it for me. Overall, I’ll recommend this place any day. I’ll be going there again for sure!

Do not let the humble exterior of Martha My Dear fool you. I had a first class experience at this lounge that is off the beaten path in Nashville. Seeing a Cynar neon sign and vintage Amaro posters everywhere was an indication that this place knows their spirits. Bar service was fast and friendly...even on a Friday night. I had a few cocktails from the menu and one or two off the menu and was not disappointed. Their Negroni and Sidecar were top notch. Highly recommend Martha My Dear if you enjoy quality cocktails.

I went for a cocktail before a show, and had a great time at Martha’s! There was a big bar with lots of seating, booths and an area with a pool table. The service was fantastic, and the drinks were better. My friend had a palm reader, which she thoroughly enjoyed as a seasoned mezcal drinker. I had volcarona which was perfectly sweet for me as well. We didn’t try and food, but what we saw passing us by, it looked good.

So I'll start off with the good: both the service and the atmosphere of the restaurant were great. I think they could do with a bit better signage out front to make it more noticeable, but that's me being more knitpicky and thinking of how they could improve their business presence. The bad: the food. This is not the place to get food. I made the mistake of ordering onion dip and ruffles for $7 and got a smearing a onion dip that was spatulaed into a ramekin with two tiny bags of lays ruffle chips. You know, those snack size bags that you would throw in a kids lunch box. I honestly laughed when it came to the table just because of how ridiculous it was to be served that at what was otherwise a fairly nice place. The fact is though, this isn't a restaurant, so you would probably be best if you got...

This bar does a great job on several levels. They offer solid cocktails, cheap beer, friendly service, and a good environment. But I fear the people of Nashville don’t recognize what a true gem it is. Not only do they have pool free of charge, but they have some of the least expensive cocktails in town. When you consider the fact that they include the liquor tax in their prices, this is really a great deal. If you catch it on a happy hour, even better. I happened to be there on a night when some locals were participating in an “amateur pool league.”...
