i bought a 4 layers chocolate cake 2 days prior for a bday celebration, they told me a fixed price and when I tried to size down bc I thought cake was too big they told me the price would be the same as for a bigger size (I was going from a 16 people to a 10 people’s size), I didn’t want to argue since I didn’t have time. Bday came i picked up the cake on a Saturday evening , the bottom layers of the cake had an acidic taste like when the milk is getting bad! On a Sunday night, I have received the WORST customer service at this place. We bought two trays of torta bread and were planning on donating it to homeless kids in need of food. However, once we got to pay, the cashier gave us a nasty glare and asked us “what’re you going to do with all that bread.” Next, the cashier was asking my married husband if they wanted to hang out. This is the second bakery I have gone to today. The first treated me as if I should not be there and were incredibly rude. Here... they were smiling, friendly, and so helpful. My daughter wanted a tres leche cake for her birthday. We havent even tried it yet, but know we will not be going to the bakery down the road again. This will be where we go from now on for that type of cake....
