Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I have been here a bunch and I keep convincing myself to give this place another try because when its good, its very good but the problem here is consistency. Though I order the same sandwich each visit, every single time it is different and sometimes drastically so. Lack of recipe consistency from a chain restaurant is a no-no to me.

The buffalo chicken cheesesteak with bacon is my order. A full half the time there has been no discernible buffalo. Not a hint or whiff of the Frank's Red Hot Sauce. No spice no kick, nothing. This is something I usually do not realize until I get the sandwich home and bite into it.

Plus, sometimes the meat is loosely chopped next time the meat is whole (like it looks like chicken tenders!) then the meat is finely diced or it looks shaved like gyro meat. Or, sometimes there's heavy blue cheese other times there's barely any blue cheese. Etc. Like - isn't there a specific way to make the sandwich or is everyone back there improvising? The lack of buffalo sauce on my buffalo chicken sandwich is the biggest issue though. It is why I likely wont be back anytime soon. But it sure is delicious when...

As I walked in everyone was sitting down and it wasn't busy no customers in the restaurant. When I got to counter the employee said oh why is it so nasty up here meaning the counter where they are fixing your sandwich/wrap. He proceeds to start fixing my wrap on top of this already nasty counter top. Mind you I'm seeing all this nasty on the entire counter and they are not busy and sitting down when I came In. This is why I do not like to eat here. I tried it today because everyone always talking about jersey Mike's but I see they have not changed. I'm just not a fan and this is every location I've tried to dine. Maybe others can take the nasty but not me knowing that my food is being drug down the line of other food particles from other sandwiches and food. What about allergies or just not wanting mustard and mayo and whatever else is already on the counter in or on my food from God knows how long its been there!! I CANT!!!...

Our visit there was simply put... BAD! The lady with gray or green eyes had the personality of dry cement. I asked to see the tuna prior to requesting the sandwich. She was fine until she made the sandwich. She laid it down, and a fly immediately landed on the bread. I told her i didn't want that. She blew, moved the sandwich under the slicer machine, and then proceeded to make another sandwich. She put the top piece of bread under the counter. I thought she was doing the right thing, but she put that same piece of bread on my sandwich. for a tuna sandwich. I'm sure she feels that she "made a fool of me."

I'm GOING to report this to the corporate office! See, I'm sure she bragged and felt she got me.
