My family decided to take me out to dinner for my birthday. My 3 kids in their 20s were treating. We are seated immediately but sit at the table for a good 15mins. Meanwhile I'm making eye contact with the a server waiting on a party of 8. We arrived at around 730. We'll after the dinner rush. I finally got up to get someone. Server who was waiting on the party came over and said, "I didn't even see you guys". Again we made eye contact about 6 times. I say nothing cause stuff happens. We order drinks and 2 appetizers. Another server brought us our drinks and then another the apps. We asked for extra sauce which we had to ask 3 other servers for. Meanwhile no bread was brought out. We finally asked the manager for some refills and some bread. I told the manager that our server seemed to be struggling. Manager brought one refill for the one closet to him. My husband and son waited another 30mins for their refill. Food is brought out by the same server who brought the apps. She said I saw this sitting in the window for awhile so I thought I'd bring it to you. Our server shows back up and says, "oh that came out fast". We ordered cheese fries as our side, it was regular fries. She told us she assumed since the button said aussie fries, that they'd come out as cheese fries. The 2 burgers were supposed to be MW-W. They were so pink in the middle my daughter and husband didn't even eat them. At this point we just wanna leave and never come back. Manager comes over to the table and says, "well it looks like everything ended up being all good" to which I said if you say so. He walked off and our server brought us the bill. Manager offered to make nothing right. I had to tell him we had no desire to wait another 45mins to get the burgers right. He reluctantly took those off our bill. Our bill was still over $100 and it was the worst experience all of us have ever had. This used to be our go to place as a family. It's gonna be like pulling teeth to get them to go back after the amount of gaslighting done by the server and the manager. I know stuff can happen but it was one thing after another. The manager knew she was struggling and did nothing to help her, or us. Just a bad situation all around. Won't...
Read moreAh, what a splendid evening I had at the esteemed Outback Steakhouse, nestled amidst the bustling avenues of modernity. Clad in my finest attire, complete with top hat and monocle, I embarked on a culinary journey like no other.
Upon entering, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality, a stark contrast to the frosty reception one might expect in this fast-paced era. Seated promptly, I perused the menu, intrigued by the promise of exotic flavors from a distant land called Australia.
I settled upon the succulent lobster, a crustacean delicacy rarely encountered in such casual environs. As it arrived, perfectly prepared and glistening in the soft candlelight, I could not resist indulging in a moment of admiration. The lobster, dear reader, was as delightful to pet as it was to consume. Its shell, robust and inviting, spoke of the ocean's depths and the culinary expertise of the chef.
Accompanying this maritime marvel was a bountiful array of side dishes, each prepared with a finesse that belied the rustic charm of the establishment. The potatoes, whipped to a cloud-like consistency, and the seasonal vegetables, fresh and vibrant, complemented the main course exquisitely.
Throughout the evening, the ambiance resonated with a conviviality rarely found in my accustomed circles. Laughter and conversation filled the air, mingling with the clink of glasses and the melodic strains of distant music. The staff, attentive and courteous, ensured that my every whim was met with alacrity.
In conclusion, Outback Steakhouse proved to be a bastion of culinary delight and conviviality in this bustling age. While unconventional in its approach, it charmed with its sincerity and commitment to hearty fare. I departed with a full stomach and a contented heart, grateful for the opportunity to pet such a noble lobster and savor its delicate flavors.
Yours cordially, Sir Reginald...
Read moreSince the start of the pandemic my family and I have shifted to ordering carry out to limit potential exposure to Covid-19. I have family members that are either immunocompromised or too young to get vaccinated, so dining in is still not an option for myself or my family. Over the course of this year the service and quality of the food has deteriorated to the point that I can no longer recommend this restaurant to anyone, which is a shame because I've always loved Outback and have been going to this location since it opened.
I used to order from this location about once per week, but increasingly I'd get home and be missing part of my order, had been given an incorrect order, or the order was poorly prepared. Two months ago I ordered online, was given a 30 minute pick up time, and had to wait 45 more minutes before getting my food after I arrived. The food was poorly packaged and the employee spilled soup in my lap when handing me the food. The manager was unapologetic and had the attitude of "so, what do you want me to do about it!?" and blamed me and her lack of employees for the increased wait time and poor service.
Fast forward to today. I ordered from this Outback for the first time in a little over two months. Sure enough, got home and part of my order was missing. Called the restaurant and they wanted me to prove that I didn't receive part of my order before they would refund me the 6.99 on a $70 order. I'm done. Never going here again.
UPDATE: It's been a year and a half and the quality of the food and the service has gotten even worse. Ordering take out is like flipping a coin, will it be good? Will it actually be what I ordered? I'd have never even had to have debated whether or not to order from this restaurant two year ago. Now you're literally flipping a coin as to whether you'll get what you ordered and if it will be properly...
