HORRIBLE!! ROACHES! Went to this place for the first time for lunch and I regret every part of it. First we go in and the three Mexican ladies in the front just sat there looking at us which in return I proceeded to ask “can we sit down” and they said yes so we did. Next we had a lady who spoke no English attempt to take our order. She walked off and two others girl tried and NUN of them spoke any English. We eventually got our drinks. The chips were cold, stale and tasted horrible. So I didn’t bother to try the salsa. Than a diff girl came up to take our order and we had to use a translator for that. All we ordered was two soft tacos with only beef and cheese to try the food because we were already iffy. After all the translating on the app etc the food still came out wrong. Keep in mind two people came in after us who ordered way more and some how got their food before us? We waited almost 30 mins for two tacos and cheese dip. At this point me and my mom were ready to leave because trying to communicate with the people was already too much. I ate the meat in the taco and it tasted horrible as well. Almost watered down. With us only ordering the 2 tacos and cheese dip along with two drinks is came out to 30 dollars which I think is CRAZY expensive. And just to add a cherry on top as we were getting ready to leave a roach decide to join us and crawl across our table :) I had the worst experience here and will never go back again. Not sure whos the management for the place. But please do better. All restaurants have roach issues but if it’s so bad to the point their joining your customers on the table with them. It’s out of hand and needs to be dealt with....
Read moreWell, the servers/bartenders are black and white, no gray area. Simply put, if you don't speak or understand Spanish, you will receive minimal service and interaction also will forget that you ordered a drink with them. Yes, this happened! The thicker female from Honduras with glasses and braces literally asked me for my drink order, left to start it and forgot that she took my order, then was on her phone. Another bartender did notice me and asked me if I would like a drink (yay to her) light skinned Colombiana with long hair. I ordered traditional tacos (3) with cilantro and onions. 20% meat and 80% onions. Garnishing should be a compliment of the topping, not the entire taco. I had to scrape off a mound of onions from the three tacos. The kicker is that they include a 18% surcharge for having a dj without telling you. This is almost double of the taxes wow! I don't care about a restaurant having a dj, I care about the purpose of me frequenting this establishment, and that's to eat. Not a terrible place, but needs ownership involvement in the operations. Also, they continue to serve alcohol to intoxicated patrons. (Violation of tennessee code annotated laws) enforced by TABC. OVERALL not terrible, just needs some supervision by ownership and management. update police, fire department, ambulance just arrived for the intoxicated person. This could have been avoided if he was cut off earlier...
Read moreJuly 31, 2024. Bad service. I came in after work for a beer and a shot of tequila. The shot of blanco don julio that I ordered was water...yes, water. I understand how that can happen. No big deal really...I laughed it off. The bottles can be used in a decorative way, that's fine. The bartender was not quite approaching apologetic, but honestly, I would be embarrassed. Not totally her fault. But a courious thing, to have a bottle of dj blanco filled with water right in the middle of your drink shelf. After nearly finishing my drinks I generally told her she could go ahead and close me out whenever and she put my tab on the bar, but I didn't pay up immediately. She came back at least twice asking me for the money and I told her I would give it to her when i'm finished with my beer. The tab was 20$ and some change. If it was a more friendly situation I would've at least tipped her 7$ but she seemed a bit stand-offish so I put 21$ on the table and walked out. Once I walked out and started at my truck, she came out of the door, walked up to my window and asked me if I paid. I told her I left the money on the bar. Honestly, she wasn't rude about it, but it was just a weird thing to have happen. The money was obviously on the table. In all fairness, I've been into this restaurant once before and everything was absolutely perfect, including friendly staff...
