I heard so many great things about this place! I went with a big appetite, high expectations, and contained anticipation. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and seated immediately. Granted it was during a weeknight and they weren't too busy. We asked the waitress a few questions regarding the menu items as most were labeled market price. Upon making a decision, we ordered. I eagerly waited as my mouth watered from seeing the succulent images on the menu. Our food finally arrived and to my disappointment, I noticed that the advertised crab stuffed lobster was made with imitation crab. Nowhere on the menu did it say or show this. As I dug past the mountain of artificial crab meat, I noticed some unseasoned shrimp, and the remaining lobster had a bitter aftertaste (as if it was old) with the consistency of calamari. Needless to say, I didn't even check out my friend's dish as I regretted spending $45 on a sub-par dish made with a combination of artificial & old seafood, unseasoned, and drowned in cheese to camouflage the lack of effort and horrible fusion of uncreative cuisine. Mind you, this was eaten on an empty /hungry stomach (when ANYTHING usually taste great). I was better off following my gut and heading to Juicy's Seafood in Hermitage to get a worthwhile meal for my seafood craving. Here is the silver lining: This should've gotten one star, but it's getting two because our...

I recently went to this restaurant with a rather large party I guess.. it was 10 people, 2 children included. Originally we have called to make reservations and what not to avoid a long wait but when we got tjere we were informed by the hostess that they did not accept reservations... So we waited 40 minutes to be seated only to find out our group was to be split into 2 different tables.. ok, we were hungry and so we just sat down .. service was good. Our waitress, Marisol I believe, was quick and wonderful. Our service was fast and our food was brought out with I'm good time. Drinks were great and there was a live band. When they bill came be noticed that they had changed us a gratuity included.... Even though it was just 3 adults and 1 child a that point.. I've heard of that being applied to parties of 8 or more but they had already made us wait after supposedly holding a table and seperated out hroupour so why still tack that in. I will not be returning. It was much to expensive for what I ordered.. I can get a carne asada anywhere and not be as annoyed. But if your into seafood, just beware the prices and don't have a...

When you think of Mexico you dont really think of seafood. You mostly think of different typical dishes. I've been here couple of times and everytime I leave with a happy smile. They have variety of seafood dishes as well as some very typical. My father's favorite to order are called cucarachas (cockroach) which is shrimp in a hot sauce with tomato and cucumber. Mine is salmon relleno de que con hongos. (Stuffed salmon in cheese sauce and mushrooms). Both are very tasty and creamy. They have options for a bigger size party and some smaller dishes for when you want to enjoy an evening out. Variety of drinks too. Alcoholic and non alcoholic and natural flavoring drinks.

From what I've been told Saturday and Sunday they have mariachi play live in the evenings. Something you might be able to enjoy. They do charge for each song request you have. Nonetheless very fun and entertaining.

Food items are pricey but it is seafood and portion sizes are big. If you don't have a big appetite maybe a plate might be good for 2.

They have happy hour but you'll have to check I'm not 100% sure on what days and...

We came on memorial day- at night like at 9pm. They sat us down and gave us the best ceviche. It was the best I've had in Nashville. I don't even like ceviche but we ended up ordering one big order take home with us at the end. It was that good. We ordered small since it was late. Husband got the Mojarra, I got the huge shrimp, and my daughter got the fish. It was good. Service was very friendly but just a bit slow. I mean they were just about to close so it didnt really matter to us. We were just happy to still get seated and then even happier when the food came out. It was delicious. The flavor of the shrimp was great. The mojarra and rice were also really good. My daughter ate all her food. There were more kids when we were there and arrived after us. However there is a bar as you come. It's nit any different than any Mexican restraunt, TGIF, Applebee's, or Logans. The only different the layout isn't blocked off by walls or booths. Its an open concept so you see everyone at all times. That's the only difference. The decor is pretty and the restrooms were clean.

I read another review that stated the ceviche was better than the chips and salsa (a bit blander than a good store bought version). I noticed other tables would get the ceviche upon seating, but I assume non Hispanic people get the American version. Anyway, the mariachi band was playing which was a nice surprise…a bit loud to hear your guests speaking, but it seems to bring in a lot of happiness from all the guests. We ordered a seafood tower, steak fajitas (cheap, bland cut of meat) and some octopus. The sauce almost reminded me of a dipping sauce for crab legs and it paired so well with the tender octopus. Yum! The seafood paella on the tower was too mushy to enjoy. Crab legs were cooked to long or something cause the meat was difficult to remove from the shell and they were lukewarm. The shrimp was not deveined 🤮 and the mussels could of been left off. No sweet tea available. Friday is busy. Had it twice and I’m okay without going again.

It is a great Mexican seafood place! I love it, finally found a great place with a wide variety of seafood. The habanero sauce is really good, and you will have to comeback several times to try that many dishes, I had the pineapple Rey, it was good, the side of fries were not the best, but you are not there for the fries. And the "huachinango zarandeado" was great, that has great flavor. Service is great, waiters are friendly and attentive. I'll come back. Prices are as what you will expect in a seafood place.
