Location, location, location. This is a long review but might be worth your time. So first of all, I travel to Nashville all the time. Typically I only stay in business class style hotels but recently I stayed in BW on a family vacation and had a really good experience so I decided to stay at this new(er) Antioch BW Plus. I checked in on 3/23/22 at about noon. My plans were to check out on 3/27. As soon as I arrived I noticed an Auto Glass company repairing a customers vehicle that had been broken into earlier that night. Thinking right away, this was a bad sign, I still decided to check in thinking, well, what’s the chances vandals would hit this place again so soon! Anyhow, when I walked in I had to wait at the desk for 20 mins (nobody was there) but finally the frontdesk guy came out from the back with a law enforcement officer (that we’re reviewing the video camera footage I was told later). The front desk clerk was nice and quick at checking me in. He didn’t try to hide the fact that several customers got broken into that night but he said they had really good video of it. That was cool I thought… So the hotel was great, like brand new almost. Everything new and clean. Really good hot breakfast, rooms had nearly everything a traveler would need (fridge with separate freezer, stove top, microwave, sink, all the dishes and utensils, everything). Beds were comfortable and it was just a well thought out room. It was very close to I-24 so some might find it a bit too loud with highway noise but actually for me it made me sleep better (ambient sound type thing). So all good the 1st night I was there but at 4:12am on the 2nd night I was awaken with gunshots so loud I thought it was shot in the next room from me. After taking cover on the floor, I then heard tires squealing out front and realize whatever was happening was going on outside in the front parking lot. After a few minutes I get outside to find out that numerous car windows were smashed out and gun shell casings were everywhere. Luckily my vehicle was fine. Apparently moments before the gunfire, another BW guest heard a car alarm going off, went outside and confronted the punks who were doing it. He claimed to me they shot at him so then he decided to get in his car and chase after them even claiming he “ran over” one of the suspects who shot at him!!! Here was the biggest problem, not necessarily BW or their staff fault, but it took Metro Nashville PD over two hours to show up! That’s after several calls to the them. That’s after telling the police that 11 cars were broken into, and that supposedly one of the BW guest/victims ran over one of the suspects and there were gun shell casings, and other evidence all in the front parking lot!!! Two hour response time when likely we had a fairly significant criminal event that occurred there! So, nice hotel and I might add, really good lighting outside in the parking lot, but you may want to think Twice before considering this hotel for your safety! Darn shame because I really liked this hotel and would have definitely came back if it wasn’t for this incident. I checked out early right away after speaking with the cop. Btw BW Plus staff/managers, my last name is different than what shows on Google. But I was in room 407 if you want to know. Also, after reading other very recent reviews I have more concerns with security at this hotel. After I checked in, I remembered the front desk guy telling me they had 24 hr armed security there now due to recent break-in’s so that was another reason I decided to stay there. Reading a Mgr response to a customer survey below that recently got their car broken into he too mentioned the 24 he security but said the Security company had a scheduling error on that particular night and wasn’t there…. Well there WAS Not any security on this event so what’s going on with your...

Has potential but don’t expect much. I was just there for a week and stayed in the Apartment type room. There are only 2 rooms like this. I did it to be able to cook and save money on food. I was also working from the hotel for a week.

I got there a little after 1 pm to see if I could go ahead and check in. Was initially told no, then I said I just wanted to see if my room might already be available. Then she checked and said yes for $50 early check. Basically 1 1/2 early. I realize she told me and I agreed since we had refrigerated stuff and wouldn’t be back until that evening. However, I think that if the room happens to be ready and they didn’t do anything extra, why should I be charged. Anyway that’s more of an opinion on BW policy and not the hotel.

Its location was okay for where I needed to be but Collins Rd is a weird intersection with the road split by railroad trellis. It is always busy. A number of wrecks.

It is also by a railroad track so the train runs regularly. None of this is the hotel’s fault just wanted to mention it. It is right off of I-24 so that’s convenient but once again, i-24 is always backed up.

The room itself was very large and clean except for the stuff in the kitchen. They were dirty and sticky. I tried to find out ahead of time what was there to know what to bring but it’s a waste of time. I was told I could request when I got there. When you get there, it’s they can get me plates and stuff if I need it, but they usually don’t. I brought dishwashing detergent and washed everything. I found out later there is complimentary dishwashing detergent but they don’t tell you that at check in and don’t leave one or two to start off in the room.

The staff is okay. They don’t do anything to be friendly or go above they are cordial. I asked about being able to put my trash outside my room because I didn’t need housekeeping. I was told to use the trash chute. I asked if there was a trash chute. They said, on some floors but not sure which ones. I asked housekeeping and they gave me a large black trash bag. So I just did that for the week.

The first night we returned to our room and the silver safety catch was engaged and we couldn’t get into our room. This catch is what you are to use from the inside for security. After having to go downstairs to ask ,the front desk clerk came up to look and called the mgr. Evidently this happens and we just have to push hard. So we basically busted in. Safe??? Was told this happens from time to time.

Our toilet made a screaming sound every time we flushed it and randomly when we weren’t using it. I reported it at 9:30 am and was told they would write it down and see if they could get someone to look. I went down there later that afternoon after 3 pm and asked - it was like reporting it again for the 1st time. The manager, Kenya was there and she ended up coming up. She tried to adjust it but said she would have maintenance come the next day and fix it. No one came. I called the next afternoon and someone finally came and replaced it.

TV - so you get to figure things out yourself. It uses Xfinity cable. Channels lower than 1000 don’t fill up the TV screen and are blurry. If you choose the 1000 and above then they are HD. Would be nice to know. Also it randomly changes input to Home/SmartTV while you are watching it. However, the remote in the room doesn’t do anything with that. You can only change the input back to Xfinity.

All of my issues were “fixed” but I had to follow up when most were simple and didn’t have to be an ordeal. I did talk to the manager about most of these things.

I don’t think I would stay here again. The hotel is clean and breakfast was pretty good, but honestly I spent a lot of time and money at this hotel and...

This hotel has so much potential! The rooms and lobby are brand new and beautifully designed (and kept very clean) and when the fitness center and pool are up and running, they will be wonderful as well. The staff we interacted with were pleasant. That being said, so many things were broken, water damaged or out of order and without any heads up, no posted signs, and no explanation or apology from management (as opposed to the previous hotel I stayed at where there were emails sent and signs posted explaining the reason behind renovations taking place at the hotel). One of the two elevators were broken the entire weekend, the pool was closed "for cleaning" our entire stay (I never saw it being cleaned; it is not operational for some reason), the fitness center was hot and humid and had a dehumidifier (no fan, seemed like the air was not working) in it, the 2nd floor had half the ceiling tiles missing (more and more each day) and carpet being ripped up, water damage on walls and an explosion of confetti that was left on the entire left side of the hallway Saturday night until late Sunday morning. There seems to be a coffee maker in the lobby that is supposed to be functional throughout the day that was not operational. That will be a nice feature once it's up and running. The hotel is also situated right near train tracks, so if you're a light sleeper, that may be an issue for you. Hopefully management is more transparent about whatever is going on with guests and that the issues are quickly remediated because the hotel is in a convenient location near Nashville, features a nice, bright modern design and has lovely facilities, especially for the price, once they are all functioning...

Review of Best Western Stay (Sept 19–21, 2025) I booked Best Western for my birthday stay from September 19–21 because of its great location, advertised amenities, and positive reputation. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. Upon check-in, I had to be moved four different times because of serious issues in each room: • Room 1: Not cleaned (dirty fridge, dirty sheets, and even leftover underwear in the bathroom). The TV didn’t work, even after trying 8 different remotes. • Room 2: Toilet didn’t work at all and the A/C had issues. • Room 3: Strong bad odor, dusty, and paint everywhere. • Room 4: Somewhat better but still showed a lot of unfinished renovation work. Additional issues: • Pool was closed, which was not listed on the website. I specifically booked here to enjoy the pool, especially in the hot weather. • Hallways were hot and humid. • Ice machines didn’t work on any floor except the first. • Floors covered in plastic, which was a tripping hazard. • Rooms had no dark shades, making it very difficult to sleep. • A/C barely worked, making the rooms uncomfortable. • Breakfast was poor — limited selection, undercooked food, and several other guests complained as well. The only positive part of my stay was the two front desk agents, who were very nice and tried their best to help. Overall, this was a horrible stay, especially for a hotel of this caliber, and definitely not what I expected when booking for a special occasion. Given the number of issues, I believe a full refund is more than reasonable for this experience.

I stood in this place for about 20 days, place is nice stuff is friendly installations are in good shape(very comfortable) two elevators breakfast is great,BUT IF YOU STAY HERE CHANCES ARE YOU CAR WINDOWS ARE GONNA GET BROKEN AND YOUR PROPERTY STOLEN, YES THIS IS A HUGE PROBLEM HERE, IN THE TIME THAT I STOOD THERE, THIEFS BROKE IN SO MANY CARS SOMETIMES EVEN DAY AFTER DAY AND BESTWESTERN DID NOTHING, BESTWESTERN NEEDS SECURITY GUARDS OR LET THEIR GUEST KNOW ABOUT THIS ISSUE IN ADVANCE RATHER THAN GIVE A BUSINESS CAR FROM SOME WINDOW REPAIR. NOT I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP I HAD THAT HAPPENED TO ME ..........YOU'VE BEEN WARNED DID I MENTION ONE OF MY WHEEL COVERD GOT STOLEN THE NIGHT BEFORE CHECK OUT? YES A DAM WHEEL COVER IN FRONT OF THE LOBIE!!!!GOD HAVE MERCY IN THIS PLACE Update: My supervisor and other crew members left the hotel a few days later after their pick ups got broken in, of course, like before best western did nothing to prevent it and nothing to alleviate other than give a window repair business card. The replay of the manager is very nice yet is the same for everyone who shares his/ her experience in this hotel. It seems like management wants to look like they are trying to solve the problems, but reality seems different, which is a shame because this place is nice.
