I am hesitant in writing this review as our experience was not terrible, but it also was not what it could have been. I also am not writing this to get anyone in trouble, but to make others aware. I contacted Red Lobster a few days before a group of 9 of us were to dine-in for a birthday dinner. The gentleman on the phone said it should be fine and that he has my name down; party of 6 at around 5:30-6pm on Saturday.
Upon arrival on Saturday, we are told that the establishment does not do reservations. I kindly explained what I was told on the phone by someone else and after about fifteen minutes, they accommodated and we were seated. I’m grateful for them taking the time to hear me out.
Our appetizers were pretty good and the server was okay. The server was nice but overloaded with other tables and we found ourselves waiting a while before they would return. I ordered the ultimate feast and was very disappointed. It was not how it usually is. My lobster and crab legs tasted like chlorine. Someone else in my group ordered the sirloin cooked medium yet was brought a well-done steak. Another person asked for a refill on their peach tea and was told something along the lines of “We need to make another batch.” and was never brought more.
I am very disappointed with my experience at Red Lobster, especially as someone who has been to other Red Lobsters in the Greater Nashville Area before and had a much better experience. I am only giving it a two stars rather than one because I am grateful we were even seated. Service aside, with those menu prices, I was expecting a lot more and unfortunately I feel like my party wasted...
Read moreMan, the service we just had at RedLobster was atrocious.
We got there, everything seemed ok other than the very warm environment. That's ok we can deal with that.
We sit, and wait a good 5 mins to even be seen the first time. Then we ordered everything at once because we were already done deciding before we even could order drinks.
Then we sit for a good 10 minutes waiting on our bread and drinks. In which case another server comes over and asks if we are ready to order. We tell her we ordered over 10 minutes ago and have still yet to receive our drinks.... she's a manager and she apologizes to us and goes to back and our drinks come right out after.
Anyways fast forward. The food is good. No doubt.
At the end of our meal, we ask for a to go box and our check. She leaves and brings both back and then walks away for another 5 minutes at least. Like we didn't just get the check to pay and leave.
She comes back and gets the check book, walks to a computer we can see. And then walks away to the back. We are sitting here waiting while the table next to us' server comes, gets them their check and get their order paid. All while we are still waiting for our server to come back with our card and receipt.
Very un satisfied. I left a 5$ tip for a 107$ order, and I don't feel not one slight bit ashamed. If I'm gonna pay you 20% or more (in which case I'm usually a 30% tipper) it better be good service. Not what we just...
Read moreMy husband and I was disappointed with our recent visit. We treat ourselves once a month to Red Lobster. This location is not the one we typically go to. We arrived around 11:30 am so they hadn't gotten busy with the normal after Church lunch crowd. There were a few other patrons scattered about the restaurant. They sat us at a 2 top booth and the first thing we noticed was the music was way too loud. So loud I could barely hear my husband who was directly across from me. Our server came and took our drink order with a promise to return with cheddar biscuits. We rec'd our drinks and biscuits and we asked for butter and if it was possible to turn the music down just a little. He said he would and took our order. We waited and waited on butter which never came until after we got our food nor did the music go down at all. We asked for additional maple glaze. We never received that. The lettuce in our house salads was brown and looked like they were left over from Saturday. I ordered the cauliflower au gratin as my side for an additonal up charge. Again the cauliflower au gratin literally looked like it had been cooked preciously and then reheated again. It looked and tasted Terrible. The maple glazed chicken and rice pilaf was cooked perfectly so were the cheddar biscuits once we...
