We came this previous Sunday for my sisterās birthday all the way from Brooklyn . We wanted to experience black Nashville and the #1 recommendation was Linq Social Kitchen. Walking in the vibe was amazing we got sat and a girl came to take our order . I canāt even tell you her name because she was in such a rush to go back to whatever she was doing she never introduced herself . We ordered food , hookahs & and a bottle through her. We waited 30 minutes and received nothing. They were busy but not insanely busy so the wait made no sense. We went to ask other servers if they could get her for us because we couldnāt locate her anywhere . The boy at the bar was super kind and got her for us and she acted like she didnāt know what we ordered and accused us of not ordering after we paid her CASH ! She reeked of liquor and was very hostile with us when we just wanted what we paid for . We finally got in contact with management and they reassigned us a server but the previous server continued to harass us and tell us that we didnāt wait long and that we were ābeing dramaticā . Mind you watched her party and take shots with a table across from us while she ignored our presence. Im not sure if it was because he had flashy chains he was more important in her eyes but as a business owner this was terrible customer service and clearly they need training on drinking on the job and hospitality. After almost 2 hours of waiting we finally got service from Lyric who did an amazing job. She listened to our complaints and corrected everything to the best of her abilities. She bought out our bottle and hookah within minutes something that should have happened the first time. She made my sisters birthday turn from a disaster to wonderful. The initial experience was distasteful to say the least but we ended the night on a high note. The food was great , the music was a vibe they had a great dj named kurly & the girls looked beautiful they just need to retrain their staff on etiquette and stop allowing them to drink on the job if they canāt function properly . The managers handled the situation well but i do wish i wouldāve gotten all the money back we gave from the original server. I recommend them but i suggest asking for Lyric if you want to experience Black Nashville...

Host walked us to our table and give us water sat there for 30-40 mins before waitress came (not busy itās was like 20 people there) said she was new we gave grace but we was ready to order she said she needed a minute to take our orders 20 minutes later then order food and it took 1.5hr-2hr for food and not all the food came so had to keep asking for the rest of food but during the wait no one check on us came to the table ordered drinking they came after the food so we had water for 2hr and ran out of water. Then once we got food drinks it felt they started rushing us cause now she came come up to the table ask if we are good need boxes want our checks! The host came up asking did we need boxes(but where was yall when we need drinks). We ordered a tower so my cousin had to tell her look we just got this can we finish it. The tower was not good anyways but we wanted to drink so bad cause we been waiting so long we didnāt care! Food sooooooo good amazing best shrimp and grits in town!! But service is a negative 5 and I would never go back just because of that! If the owner read this I would advise you to just coach staff to be friendly we cool people, so new worker no problem but not smiling or friendly is like ok no! The biggest thing is yall charge a 20% tip off top thatās not fair when service...
Read moreI recently visited LinQ and wanted to share my experience. While the ambiance and décor were charming, there were a few aspects that left room for improvement.
Parking was a bit of a challenge, so I recommend planning for some extra time to find a spot. We arrived at 5:10 PM, based on their advertised opening time of 5 PM, but were told the restaurant wouldn't open until 6 PM. This miscommunication was inconvenient, and Iād suggest clarifying their opening hours to avoid confusion.
Once inside, the atmosphere was cozy, but the music selection was random and lacked cohesion, which detracted from the vibe. Unfortunately, songs by artists like R. Kelly and Chris Brown were playing when we arrived, which was off-putting given their controversies.
The food had its highlights, though there were drawbacks. The all-you-can-eat crab legs were tasty, but there was a 30-minute wait between servings, and each portion was limited to two clusters. Additionally, they were out of non-carbonated drink options, which was a bit disappointing.
Despite these hiccups, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant has potential. With some tweaks to their operations and music choices, I think LinQ could offer a much more enjoyable...
