I read the review below of the Physician Assistant program and could not disagree more. The TNU PA program has offered all it promises are more! I did not think choosing a Christian university would make a big difference in how I understood and practiced medicine, but it has gloriously revived my hope in humanity and the work on the church in the world. The professors here share a passion for missions and using medicine as a ministry, not just a way to make a pay check. I am sure these professors could be making a lot more money in private practice, but instead they are slaving on hours of lectures and test material just so I can take medicine to the world's most needy populations. The staff are super approachable, for example, before I even came (2 weeks before orientation) I got a phone call asking if I needed any help moving in, or how they could pray for me! This staff has taken in my classmates who have lost a parent while in the program, they have cried with me over personal and family stuff, and referred me to great providers to take care of my family! They really do care about the students and are personally invested in this program! Is the program academically tough? yes! But I would not want it to be any easier, because this program is respected in this community for putting out HIGH quality providers. So if you want a beautiful setting amidst a bustling urban neighborhood minutes from downtown, intimate class sizes with genuine staff, and a strenuous but worthy Physician Assistant education... look no...
Read moreThis review ONLY reflects the Physician Assistant program - I'm not really familiar with the rest of the University. The PA program is ranked #112 (out of 123 - there are several community colleges ranked higher) by the US News for a reason. The faculty are very adamant about promoting professionalism in the student body, but they have an odd definition of professionalism: any student grievance or disagreement with faculty is dismissed as unprofessional, but faculty are inconsistent, inconsiderate, and blatantly unprofessional without consequence. By blatantly unprofessional I mean: accusing students of being gay in class, fraternizing with current students via text and facebook, using several different graders for one assignment where each grader is vastly different in their approach - this is reflected in the students' grades - and many other examples. This program does NOT reflect a Christian approach to education, does not deserve to be ranked any higher than #112, and is, in my opinion, a waste of money. I am a student in this program. I love the material, and I'm excited to be a PA, but I have no intention of ever recommending TNU to any...
Read moreI completed the MOL Master Organizational Leadership program entirely online as a distant learner. My experience has been pretty pleasant, however some of the course material was out-dated so revisions has been made to the program offering a new specialization track for students to benefit from. My professors were Amazing minus two 😊😊, however I would say that they were bad I just think that sometimes differences of opinions should be respected. I actually excelled in the MOL Program and learned so much about l leadership. My only complaint is that my degree was mailed out to me in a card board envelop which is beyond shocking to me and an insult. I would prefer that my hard earned degree have been package in a hard Trevecca Nazarene University portfolio. I have attended several universities an none of the other schools has ever mailed my degree in a card board envelop; Murray State University Shorter University, nor Argosy University Minus this experience TREVECCA NAZARENE UNIVERSITY is by far an Excellent University💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛 -LaTalia...
