I ordered a sandwich; what I received in return was a work of art. 👌

I came in on a Friday after the lunch rush during a little lull. I was happily greeted and then instructed to fill out my sandwich worksheet. After I did, I told them that they could also choose to ignore everything I had detailed and just make whatever they like. Dealer’s choice!

Pierce, a true sandwich artist, got big eyes and happily went to town, eventually finishing with a smile, saying to himself with what sounded like a bit of envy: “now that’s a good sandwich.”

I took it to go and once in the car took a bite. Then quickly another. What!!?? Instant food memory downloaded. This sandwich was pure genius—so good I put it down and ran back inside to let my guy know. 👌🙌

The only problem is, I don’t know exactly what was in it. Jalapeños (which I usually shy away from in favor of banana peppers), honey pepper sauce, and maybe Italian meats. Not sure what else. Whatever it was, I enjoyed to the last bite. He assured me he could make it again.

One last plug for how good this was: I got the chips + drink because I LOVE chips…But I refused to let any chips to touch my mouth until I was done with this sandwich. Get yo chips outta my mouth! Refusing chips? I can’t remember ever thinking that before.

I will be back, the only question is will I try to have him recreate this special, go for another dealer’s choice, or detail my own? I have a feeling either...

Absolutely blown away. Hands down, the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life - no exaggeration. I didn’t even know steamed sandwiches were a thing until I came to Music City Sandwich Co, and now I can’t stop thinking about them.

The setup is simple, almost nostalgic: you walk in, grab a slip of paper, mark your sandwich and toppings, and hand it over. No frills, no gimmicks—just outrageously good food. The bread is soft but holds together perfectly, and the steam unlocks this next-level flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture you didn’t know a sandwich could have.

They’re only open four hours a day, which almost makes it feel like a hidden gem or exclusive club. You get there during those hours, you’re one of the lucky ones. The vibe is laid back. You can tell people know they’re eating something special.

I’ve traveled a lot, eaten at spots all over the country, but nothing compares to this. Music City Sandwich Co is an absolute must.

Saw this place had a solid 5-Star ratings amongst many other reviews and we can see why!!! This place was great! We came around 2-2:20pm, and it wasn't busy at all. The ordering process is so cute, you take a paper that has all the options on it and mark what you want and then check out with it. It didn't take too long to make the sandwiches. I got a white bread sandwich with turkey, cheese, and some other condiments. The bread was SO GOOD! I came with my friends and they all said the bread was so good. The sandwich itself was also very good, but the bread just won the whole thing over. And it was a large portion too. While we were in there we could tell several regulars were coming in which we loved to see as we are not from Nashville. Will be coming again if ever in...

Y’all. Can we talk about this bread for a sec? The flavor packed pumpernickel rye could be a meal on its own. Ultimately fresh, soft, and flavorful. I enjoyed it with generous amounts of roast beef, provolone, jalapeños, sauerkraut, hot honey, and lemon pepper. The friendly, welcoming vibe hits you as you park, continues through the immaculate shop, reflects on the faces of the sandwich artists, and lives in every bite of your MUSIC CITY SANDWICH. Such a great experience that is [of course] accompanied by GOOD MUSIC.
