I have been going to Inglewood Lounge literally since the day they opened. It's a cozy venue with a small carefully curated menu of craft cocktails and small plates. They really nail the "lounge" part of their name. The small booths and couches create an intimate space perfect for 2 or 3 to interact. Fun music plays softly so you can talk but not hear too much from other patrons. all the wall paper plants and cool furniture really bring some cool style to the indoor seating. Outdoor seating consist of a covered patio on one side and a grassy picnic area on the other. A charming speaker system announces when you can walk up to grab your food. The food itself is at a good price point but be aware it's a smaller serving. The Piri Piri chicken is the standout in my opinion. I'd also recommend any dish with their asian slaw on it. I've literally requested a pint of this to take home and put on my own dishes. Finally if you like poutine they have a solid example of it to try. Cocktails rotate frequently but they always have some solid standards with a twist like a last word made with mezcal or a old fashioned spiked with earl grey tea syrup. There is usually only 2 or 3 staff but they're friendly and happy to discuss your food and drink options. Finally on some days a small jazz or funk ensemble can be found playing in the corner really adding to the ambience. If you are looking for a great date night or a place to meet a few close friends you should consider...
Read moreI grew up in East Nashville and have distinct memories of being 5 and eating Mrs. Winners chicken here. I came with hesitation and high hopes. I left with a smile on my face. My expectations were shattered in the best way imaginable.
I had an opportunity to taste or smell each item on their small (but wonderful) menu. Absolutely everything was delicious, appropriately sized and reasonably priced considering the utter deliciousness of the food.
The selection of spirits is obviously curated, and the bartenders are creative and friendly. I visited during a slow afternoon. Because It was slow, I had the opportunity to have the bartender improv a cocktail for me. I gave him a few details and the final product was unlike anything I've had before. It was on a level with Attaboy, but dare I say, a better value.
Overall, I was delighted and will definitely return. An additional shout-out to Jeremiah. You really made my...
Read moreWay more chill than I expected. I always drove by and saw the lot full, assuming it would be packed, shoulder to shoulder, loud, and too crammed. I must say I was completely wrong. My partner and I finally went at the suggestion of a friend, and although we got the only open spot in the lot, the area felt spacious, yet every table felt like its own little nook. Even with music playing and the place full, we could talk at a decent level and have a conversation without having to holler over everything. You can order drinks from the bartender, but the online ordering system where you enter your table number is quick and effective. Drinks are strong and tasty, and the food is delicious! I recommend the Piri Piri chicken sandwich and the Animal Fries. Fun, chill, and quick date night spot that we'll...
