Papa Jon's need help (in the call center and in their stores). I normally don't call in my pizza or order on line. The day that I happen to order a pizza over the phone, it was not a great experience. I was given notice that it would be 1hour to 2hour wait, but not a 3 to 4hour wait. ( Man this was the longest I had to waited for pizza, in my life! SMH) The number I called to place the order was a call center(terrible idea). After placing the order, I asked the operator which location would my order be delivered from. She confirmed the location that I wanted my pizza to be delivered from. After waiting 3 hours, I called to check on the status of my pizza and the location was saying they had no recorded of my order. I was not a happy customer. The gentlemen did everything to find my information (nothing he could do). So! I got off the phone and dialed the same number that I placed my order. . . . .. The same lady answered and act like she never new, about my transaction. She wanted to transfer me to the manager of the store, that I just called. (at this point Papa John is not at the top of my Pizza list) I talked to the manger and he referred me to a store closer and clarified my concerns. (after given the run around) I requested to speak to the manager at the Madison store and he found my information and he mentioned that it was bad, really bad. They was 2 hour behind on walk-in orders and 3hrs plus for delivery. (as he was talking my pizza was delivered) My order was wrong (the store manager offer refund the order), SMH! I told him, think you for your service and the owner needs to find more help. . . . .. . . My husband and I ordered two pizzas around 8 p.m. on a Saturday. We’re understanding that this was most likely a high volume time and waited for the pizzas to be delivered for an hour and a half before calling to check and see where they were.
A worker, JOSH, who claimed to be manager of the establishment answered the phone. He first claimed the order was unable to be delivered and the driver attempted to call my husband upon delivering - this never happened..
JOSH then changed his story and said the address was incorrectly input into the system and the pizzas were delivered to the address in the system. When we read off the address on our receipt and special instructions on how exactly to get to our house, he was unable to confirm seeing any of that. (We later called Papa John’s customer service line and she was able to confirm seeing all the information in the system) He refused to refund us for the $20 we spent and accused us of falsely claiming the pizzas were not delivered.
My husband and I drove to the store to see if we were able to get our refund in person and JOSH did give us the refund after a few moments of back and forth, but made a few snarky/unnecessary comments while printing out the refund receipt.
When I asked for the name of JOSH’s Manager, he first told me he was the manager and owner of the establishment.. then told me he was unable to release personal information of his manager even though he released the name of the driver who supposedly delivered the pizza a few moments prior??
I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service and will make sure to avoid Papa John’s...

I would say go to Hendersonville go to Madison go to an area where you know your food is going to be fresh. I ordered my food and when I got there, They told me that they shut the oven down and it was literally 30 minutes left of the shift. They gave me the wrong food and all of my food was cold how do you get cold pizza and you order it and they make it fresh for you? literally, nothing was fresh. I ordered a stuffed crust pizza. It tasted like it had been stuffed two days prior. I’m over exaggerating, but the service at this location is not worth the stress. I would say just drive a little bit further and don’t go to this location they do not care about your food. I went into complain, and one of the workers were in the back talking really loud, saying none of that stuff happened. when clearly it did. and then for the manager to say oh, I’m gonna talk to them last night.
