What a terrible way to treat the patients over the phone. There is so much confusion and miscommunication between staff, doctors, nurse practitioners, and prescription nurse takers. They have a smooth way to get rid of the patients that ask for answers to their NO action steps, after my repeated requests for a new glucose machine and strips. All is miscommunication because they do refuse to take the time to understand the issue. They are in a hurry to hang up the phone and when they are out of answers, they just cut one off the call by an immediate complain line, which by the way is not them, but a 3rd party company. The other issue that I have experienced many times, is that they say that I will get and answer between 24 to 48 hours, but that never happens. And by the way, I was not complaining, I wanted to know why I have to call for the second time about getting a new prescription for my new glucose meter and strips and they could not give me a straight answer. They started saying that I did not requested, that the nurse practitioner did not write that I needed to check my sugar because I was controlled, when my tests show a A1-A average of 8.8, from a week ago. I told them that I needed my results asap, and they gave them to me very quickly, but the receptionist or customer service lady told me that my results were not evem signed by the attending practitioner. They are basically ghosting their patients including my husband who is extremely sick and cant even get anyone to call him back. For 6 weeks we have called over and over and been promised that a message would be given to a dr or nurse and it seems like the answering service doesnt even bother to put in the request. They never called his previous dr to confirm his diagnosis and so what are they doing ? We are inclined to take legal action at this point because they are legally responsible for patients under their care and god forbid something awful happens in the meantime of waiting for someone to actually do their job if they were neglectful then there are laws against that. A woman named Atrice had the rudest attitude at me and this other hispanic there from the moment she walked in. from the sound of it was due to her lunch being messed up. i simply was trying to see if i could do a walk in because I had just missed my appointment and was told to come down and try to see. Instead of just saying no you arenāt able to do that she gets annoyed and aggravated and starts saying slick stuff under her breath. everyone else was and is really great but whatever her issue does not need be brought upon patients there especially over your food...
