I placed an order for a medium pepperoni pizza and double chocolate brownie around 9:30 pm on 8/22/23. When the ordered was placed it gave me like a 36-41 minute wait, which is not a big deal. I used to work for a pizza franchise, so I understand if it's busy. Well, after I placed the order I was watching the Papa Tracker and it kept saying my order was being made (which is the first step of the tracking process) and not being baked. After 20 mins, I called the store, but was on hold. I hung up after a few minutes and called back almost immediately, all the while the Papa Tracker was still showing my order as being made. I was on hold again, and at this point it had been about 30 minutes since I placed the order. I was thinking they were going to cancel my order because I had ordered it as cash payment and not credit. After about 5 minutes on hold, I hung up again. Keep in mind I'm watching the Tracker. Since, no one answered the phone and the Papa Tracker wasn't updating to what part of the process my order was at, I ended up ordering from somewhere else. About 10 minutes later, I hear a knock at the door. It was Door Dash divering my Papa John's. Not upset that it was Door Dash, but upset that the Papa Tracker didn't update to reflect each step of the tracking process. I attempted to cancel the other order, but it was already on the way. I just accepted both orders and figured I would use some of the food for breakfast. So, when I walked inside and sat down to eat, I opened the pizza box and saw the pizza had very little pepperoni and the pizza was hardly even cut into slices. I'm in a hotel room, I don't have access to a pizza cutter, so I had to tear the pizza along, what I thought was, the slice lines. I still tipped the Door Dash driver because it wasn't his fault, but the service and quality I received from Papa John's was pretty bad. The reason I gave 2 stars rather than 1, is because the brownie was good. However, the brownie comes prepackaged and is hard...
Read moreThey don't know how to put onions on a pizza. So little cheese the onions cook in the sauce instead of being cooked on top with burnt edges like little caesars can. I spent a half hour on hold trying to make sure they did it right but by the time I got thru they had ruined another one. They do not know how to slice onion for a Pizza . They had big square chunks all cooked in the sauce so it was terrible. Not even one price so much as had a brown edge let alone crispy. The dough is half cooked. The pizza was just about cold so I guess no keep it hot ovens like I used when I delivered pizzas years ago. And no one cares to make it right. Oh and one more thing Google doesn't tell me what I can say. I'm an American I have the right of free speech and even if I wasn't an American I have the right to speak without some censorship imbued google telling me what I can...
Read moreThis is not necessarily the store people's fault, I will say that 1st. When I called to place an order for 3 boxes Cheese sticks Pepperoni pizza Jalapeño, pineapple and pepperoni 2 2 ltr Pepsi. Waited almost an hr. It's a Friday night so that I'll let slide, however Doordash delivered my items, and forgot the 2, 2 liters. It says it right on the sticker. I flagged her down and got her attention. She was arguing with me stating my order did not come with my 2, 2 liters and barley spoke English when It did. It says it right on the sticker. She said I ordered through Doordash. I did not. I called it in and the Papa John's person was courteous and even read the order back to me! It's now an hour and a half later and they just now brought me the 2 2 liters. Highly disappointed and I recommend the Doordashers if used READ THE ORDER!!! Especially when paying...
